Winterberries Yarn

What a great little shop! I enjoyed the mix of yarn and notions offered. It has a lovely atmosphere and the owner who works there is helpful and kind. I loved their brand of yarn and the colors offered. Certainly "specialty" yarn (not what you would find at the average craft store) but that makes sense because this is a specialty shop. Just set your expectations to splurge a little on some quality yarn if you don't normally shop at a dedicated yarn store. Worth the drive out of my way, preferred over the shops I have closer to me. It's also very scenic and a winery is down the road as well for those making a trip!
Worth mentioning - parking is in the rear of the building! Easy to miss (I drove past twice lol), just turn into the narrow driveway on the left when facing the building and there is plenty of parking in the back. You can enter from the back as well.

Lovely shop! Large, warm, lots of fun gift items for knitters as well as beautiful yarn and roving for spinners. Also back issues of Ply Mag! Great stop for us.

A local jewel. Friendly service and an amazing selection of yummy yarns in delicious colors. Hand-dyed yarns galore. If you are investing hours in your project, you deserve the delights of lovely yarn.

Stephanie is a lovely person and her shop is full of beautiful hand-dyed yarns, knitting/weaving/crochet/spinning notions, books and handmade items. She offers classes and events all through the year. I took a class where I got to learn to weave and keep my loom. It is a great place to shop and learn!

Excellent selection - loads of indie dyed, array of Plymouth, yarn + project bags + notions + finished objects. The staff was really nice, helpful, and laid back. No proper parking lot, but you can park in the grassy/gravel area in the back.
Allergen alert: there is a shop cat and dog that spends time there as well.

Plethora of beautiful yarns! Stephanie the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I bought some beautiful yarn. Stephanie was kind enough to wind the yarn for me! Im ready for my next project. Nice experience and Ill be back.

Winterberries is such a nice yarn shop. I always find everything I want, and the woman who owns the shop ( I’m sorry, I don’t know her name, but she is precious) is always so helpful. I have so much fun shopping for yarn when I go there.

This place is dangerous for your wallet, and fulfilling for the soul!!!! Great place to find the most beautiful hand dyed merino wools, as well as accessories for knitting, crochet, and felting. Plus they have get togethers on the porch to knit or crochet together and learn new techniques. Awesome place!

Great store with a very knowledgeable and friendly owner. They have a wide variety of yarns as well as items for spinners, weavers, and needle felting to name a few. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, and you can sit and work on your project. A friendly and adorable kitty will usually greet you along with her dog, also friendly.

Absolutely fantastic! The woman working the shop (I missed her name) went out of her way to proactively help me, finding a pattern on Ravelry that really suited my needs. She answered all of my newbie questions. The yarn is gorgeous, the choices are vast, and all the knick knacks are adorable. I can't wait to return.

I stopped by here on the way back from the wolf preserve over the summer. The shop is really worth visiting and I wish it was closer to me. They had a great selection of everything: yarn (brands I've heard of and indie dyers), tools, notions, project bags, spinning supplies, and other cute odds & ends. The atmosphere of the shop is lovely and doesn't feel cramped when there are other shoppers browsing in the store. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well

Great yarn store! Big variety of hand dyed yarns, quality fibers, lots of hand made stuff and soy candles. Comfortable front porch where you can enjoy a cup of coffee (yes, they also has coffee!!!) while watching birds feeding from multiple bird feeders

Winterberries Yarns in northwest NJ is such a nice shop! Stephanie couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! They had beautiful hand dyed yarns as well as some commercial yarns. Definitely worth the ride (I’m from the Jersey shore) and I’d go back!

This is my idea of a perfect shop. A big country table in the center reminds me of walking into my grandmother's kitchen. There is a bookshelf crafting books, but also a nice selection of used novels, a little bit in the chick-lit side. Oh, and did I mention the yarn?!?! Beautiful selection of yarn, needles, and hooks! Found this gem on vacation and now I don't want to leave!

New store! Adorable little town setting, great selection of yarns. Classes offered, sit and knit, sip and knit, movie nights all offered, too. Very friendly owner, very friendly mascot (Jexie 🐈 the cat.) Ready to help build community!

I love Winterberries! Stephanie is a great person to meet and she is super accommodating to try to help her customers out. I have attended class there on different occasions sometimes to learn a new craft and others just for the cozy atmosphere and company.

Very cute yarn shop with a variety of spinning supplies as well, and a very varied class schedule. Great book selection as well, especially for a comparatively small shop. Nice music selection as you browse.
