I had a wonderful time at the Honesdale / Pocono KOA Holiday. The campground is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the Northern Pocono Mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they organized many fun activities for the guests, such as bingo, crafts, hayrides, and live music. The facilities were very clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The campground also has a nice pavilion where you can relax, read, or play games on rainy days.

I stayed in a deluxe cabin that was spacious, comfortable, and cozy. It had a kitchenette, a bathroom, a fireplace, and a porch. The cabin was equipped with everything I needed for my stay, such as dishes, utensils, linens, towels, and toiletries. The cabin also had air conditioning, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi.

The campground is close to many attractions in the area, such as Prompton State Park, Tanner Falls, Moka Origins, and Honesdale town. There are also some great restaurants nearby, such as Wayne on the Hill, Red School House, and Dyberry Forks.

I would highly recommend the Honesdale / Pocono KOA Holiday to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience in the Poconos. It is a great place for families, couples, solo travelers, and pets. I will definitely come back again soon. Thank you for making my stay memorable!

We've been going here every year, and we love it! Quite a hike from where we're from (3 hours), but its worth it!
Campground has so many activities for families, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the area is just gorgeous!
Best part for me is enjoying time with my daughter as we put together 3D puzzles at the office porch after hours, when its quiet time and the campground is just so peaceful and serene!
Absolutely zero complaints! Looking forward to our next trip! Thank you so much Tim and Debbie!!

10 minute drive to the fairgrounds. 10 minute drive to town for groceries.
The pool and grounds were well maintained and the staff very friendly.
Our campsite was at the top of the hill away from the pool and play area, just how we like it, quiet, but short walk to all the activities.

Run by a nice family and lots of amenities for the kids. Huge place so you can definitely be close to other people or be spread out from other people, whatever you're looking for.

Exceptional camping experience. Of all the koa’s we have visited this was the quietest. Service was spectacular. Well run and accommodating. The only negative has to do with their Wi-Fi. Not consistent and frustrating but the overall result was still a five.

Had a great time this past week. So much to do just in the campground from mini golf, to fishing, walking the park, close to town, went and saw Tanner Falls. Definitely a place to go stay.

Great stay, especially with kids. Clean facilities, well-stocked store, space between sites, friendly staff. We never even made it to the playground or KampK9, because there was so much to do. The kids loved the slide and I especially loved watching them bring the rafts back up- slower each time, as they got tuckered out (and slept well).

Great place, very clean, lots of shade & quiet! Owners and staff were very nice. Fall/Halloween decorations all over camp. Staff provided some fun fall activities. Nice Pond and walking paths, small, quiet campground, easy to access with large trailer/rigs, large wide roads.

Campsites were a little close for our liking but they did a good job keeping a few sites open between campers. We had a back-in site for our 37" trailer, good space to get in. Site was almost perfectly level, just a few small adjustments.

Bathrooms were clean and easy to get to.
Office had a nice store with many options for food, snacks, essential camping items that may be needed as well as some souvenirs.

Dog park was nice but very dark at night-they had solar lightning but because of all the trees, most didnt get enough sun to work.
We would definitely recommend this place:

We tent camped here and it’s super quiet and very nice. Bathrooms were clean. We even saw the largest, most gorgeous moth!

We were in Site 56. There is plenty of room between the sites and you do not feel cramped. The view from our site into the woods was wonderful. The grounds did not have a lot of vehicle traffic and it is very quiet.
We did not have any negative experiences while we were there.
We forgot our volleyball and the camp store was kind enough to loan us one. The store has a call-ahead pizza service and its pretty good. The people at the store we're always very gracious and polite.
There are a great deal of hiking/walking trails within 20 minutes of the campground.
I strongly recommend checking your route of travel when you are on your way to this Campground. Our route had us on some very sketchy County Roads that are definitely not suitable for big rigs. Make sure you stay on the two-lane highways.
The campground is expanding and has added a number of pull through sites. These were still under construction when we were there, but they look spacious and long. The pond was being reconstructed as well.
We cannot wait to go back!

Not just a great campground it's an overall great place. KOA should be proud to have them represent the company. This was our first time camping as a family so we chose Honesdale KOA as our get our feet wet first time destination. They nailed it. From the clean and pleasant check in to the guardian angel who backed us in in less than thirty seconds. Thirty seconds! To the countless family activities this turned out to be a great destination. It is clean, fun and relaxing. We are now KOA members because of them and we can't wait to go back!!!

All staff we encountered were super friendly. Campground was clean. Great pool. Lots of activities - but not overwhelming. Well maintained sites - ours, and many around us, had fresh gravel and were level. Nice store that served food. Decent sized sites - I didn’t feel like we were on top of our neighbors. Cell reception wasn’t great - but you’re in the mountains. Reception was actually better than I had anticipated. Overall, a nice stay!

We just stayed 2 nights. Wish it had been longer. The setting is beautiful. The falls colors amazing, waterfalls all around and one of the best lunches we have had in ages in Honesdale. We shall return

We took our first camping trip here and had a blast! While the weather left a lot to be desired, the grounds and site we stayed at were very well maintained and LEVEL. They seemed to have a good bit of improvements going on, too. We greatly appreciate the wonderful first trip memories, and look forward to our next trip!

Great campground. We have a 5th wheel and love everything about the campground. Something is always going on. I like that they make an announcement and the kids never miss an activity. It's a great mix of adult and kid activities. We go every Columbus Day weekend and can't wait for year 4 next year!

Best KOA we have every been to. The staff was helpful and friendly. Unlike other campgrounds, there was a staff member in site virtually the entire time. They stopped by several times asking if we needed anything and were constantly on the move tidying up the grounds. Definitely going to make Honesdale KOA a regular destination.

Beautiful campground with tons of activities to keep the whole family occupied. If you have young children you will really enjoy your stay here and so will the kiddos. We were lucky enough to find wild berries growing around the camp and topped our pancakes with the fresh picked berries. Campground hosts are friendly and helpful. The laundry, and bathrooms are well kept as are the grounds. We caught Christmas in July with decorating contests, caroling, hay rides, and 🎅. Weather was cool and the Poconos kept us busy. The nearby town of Honesdale offered some nice shopping.
