Arcadia Theatre

This was a really cool little theater! My husband and I went to see Killers of the Flower Moon during our weekend away and it was the perfect end to a perfect day. They really did a nice job preserving the feel of this small theater and keeping it alive! We were excited to be able to have somewhere to see this movie while we were away in a place we didn’t think we would have access to a movie theater.

Beautiful vintage theater, delicious buttered popcorn, great staff and the best part is a reasonable price for the movie and refreshments! 🍿🥤🥰👌🏻 Mike... you're the best! 😁👍🏻

Went to see "Argylle" with my adult daughter for our February birthdays. It was a Fantastic movie, great popcorn, and considerate staff. We had a great experience with our local movie theater.

Love this theater. All the new movies and shows from the area. Prices are good and they have a nice selection of snacks

Had an amazing time watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show!!! The staff was amazing. I can't wait to go again next year.

Although the screen we saw our film at was a bit small, the prices were more than reasonable for the experience. Plus, what they lacked in screen dimensions they made up with in sound!

My daughter and I took my two grandsons and one of their friends to see Super Mario Brothers. It was a great movie. The people working in the theater were exceptionally nice and we bought popcorn boxes with drinks and candy for a great price. I love this theater. Being a school night there were only two other people in the theater.

Lovely theater with fair prices

It was so intimate and give an overall fun experience for our movie. Because the theater is so small you can only choose from like 4 movies but man what a fun time while watching. The tickets (from a city person’s perspective) were cheap and the concession stand was actually decent prices.

The oldest theater in our country. 100 years! If you are lucky like me me and meet the right person, you can get to know the transformation of a one room theater to 4. The atmosphere is awesome 👌

100-year-old theater that has been updated. It's like a history lesson just going to this location. That was the best part of going to see a movie there. And the concession prices are actually reasonable? I was amazed. If you're into Old architecture you need to stop in there even if there's no movies that you want to see ....

A great theater. Friendly staff and a wonderful environment add to a delightful movie experience. Remember seeing Titanic here back in the day! Enjoy!!!

Great place to see a movie. Smaller theaters for much more interaction with the movies, plus you can't beat the prices. I also can't forget the staff is always friendly and smiling.

Must go to movie theatre if in the area.

Nice theatre with friendly helpful staff in center of town

For a small town movie theater this place is great! My husband and I had a fun time here on our date night. The popcorn is good!
If you are expecting big reclining chairs and the complete workings of a fancy movie theater then this is not your spot. You also aren't paying the price of a movie at one of those places either.
It is a great place to enjoy a movie! Love walking around town all day shopping and popping into relax with a movie in the evening.

Great old-time atmosphere. The film we saw was horrible, so we left before it was over, but the sound/picture quality was far better than expected. Seats were clean/comfy. Staff was friendly too.

First, I have to say that I never trust reviews from people who don't spellcheck, and if you sat in pee, you'd never mistake it for soda.

If you're looking for a chain theater like Regal, with all the bells, whistles, and prices, the Arcadia isn't it.

The Arcadia is, in the best possible way, an old-school theater. The price point is excellent, and we found the theater to be very clean (what theater doesn't have a few popcorn kernels on the floor? I mean, really). The nostalgia of being at a theater owned locally makes the sound coming from the other theaters forgivable and even charming. For what it's worth, my 9 year old loved it.

Finally, the popcorn was the best popcorn I've ever had. And as if that weren't enough, the kid at the counter filled my popcorn container halfway, pumped on the (real) butter, then filled up the remainder of the container with popcorn and buttered it again. I couldn't put it down.

It's a great little theater!

Good price for pop and pop corn, and entry. Nice not being in a big city, no crowd, and good sound, and picture. Spoiler RIP John Wick!

So happy to have a local theater. It's old school for sure. But you can see and hear the movies just fine. Much better than driving all the way to Elmira. The floors are a little sticky, but so are the floors at expensive theaters. Good prices and the quality is fine.
