The River Room

Every time that I stay at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort for a weekend, I make sure to eat in the river room at least twice. The traditional menu is superb, and I’ve never had a bad dish off of it. I would particularly recommend the fried calamari with banana peppers. There’s also a rotating special every weekend, curated by the head chef. The beer selection is great, consisting of both your traditional beers, and a selection of ShawneeCraft beers - made on site at the brewery. The breakfast buffet is also noteworthy, but, dinner is the star of the show in the river room.

Tabitha was great. One dish at the table was slightly undercooked and she brought it back to the kitchen and a whole new dinner was made…even the sides. Great service and the chef came out to make sure it was better the second time around. I had the chicken penne vodka and it was the best I’ve had in years.

Service was amazing. Tabitha was so friendly and helpful. Food was very yummy. Look forward to dining here every year when we visit the resort.

The food was excellent, fries were perfectly done, crispy and enough salt, the chicken parm was more than enough for two servings. The price was very reasonable.

Wow! Was pleasantly surprised how good the food and service was. The food was absolutely delicious and great speciality drink menu.

Mark the bartender is the best! We've been coming here for a long time.. He never disappoints. He is extremely attentive to not only us but each and every customer that I see coming in. I've seen him in the most busiest of times wether it be after a large golf outings to large wedding parties. We are very impressed. He's certainly a keeper... Thanks for making our time (s) special!

Quiet, charming and friendly atmosphere.

Had dinner on the porch last evening with my wife.We hit the trifecta, as the broiled seafood combo was awesome; our server,Justin was fun/informative and the Delaware riverview
included an outdoor concert that added to the ambience of a perfect evening.You must check this place out.
