Frog Hut

We stopped by after visiting the grand canyon for some ice cream and this place is awesome. Cool, small diner vibe with good service and the ice cream we got is too notch. Definitely recommend if you're traveling through on Route 6

Don't expect gourmet or health food here. It is what you would get at most Pennsylvania towns with an ice cream shop and your basic sandwiches. It is just a cut above all the others. Their selection of ice cream and their selection of sandwiches is more varied. It's a bit better than most and the price is right. All the staff is lovely and service oriented. The bathrooms are as clean as can be. When I had my dog outside, the lady brought water from the back way out to the table outside for my dog! And since she knew I was busy with my dog, she also brought out my sandwich way out there. These people go out of their way for their customers. You can tell that they are happy working there. The owner is a great guy and quite friendly.

Cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, and fresh apple cider. Nothing overly special, but tasty. Great little spot to meet & re-connect with an old friend. Staff were super friendly and even took our photo outside with one of their hand-crafted metal frogs.

What a great service! And the food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the grilled ham and cheese, the chilli, and a soft-serve ice cream. Me? Next time I’ll try the curly fries.

Food was delicious and a great price! Everyone was very attentive and friendly. Fast service and when one of the staff saw us with our pup, she brought him a pup cup with a bone! Cannot wait to come back for more good food and service!

Small town goodness. Chilidogs are classic. And the soft serve ice cream is great on a hot summer night.

Vintage mid century independent burger shop. The place is small but the menu is huge. All kids of frozen desserts and everything from cottage cheese to frogs legs. Portions are a little on the small side but the food is delicious and the prices are low! Everyone in my group loved their meal. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was one of the best I had.

Frog legs and ice cream was delicious. Thank you to the wonderful employee who dressed up with the kids who did the thrift store challenge!

On a fishing trip, we decided to try to place. Someone joked that they might serve frogs here and sure as shoot they did. I decided to try a frog leg which was pretty tasty and had an ice cream. All very reasonably priced.

I visited here with my family while we were on vacation, as soon as I saw it I said "we've gotta stop there"

The food was great + the service was fast even thought it was packed! You could tell it was a favorite of the people who lived there.

The staff were nice and the restaurant was covered in thematically appropriate decorations and trinkets.

I got the shrimp Po boy and really enjoyed it, good ratio of meat to other ingredients. The ice cream was also really good, they have 24 flavors of soft serve and I wish I got to try more.

Very reasonable prices, not the best food in the world, but far better than many other restaurants would provide for the same cost. As well, serving some cheap frog legs is a fun curiosity that is a reason in itself to stop for folks who haven't had them.

Should I be back in town, I know I'll be back at the Frog Hut

Amazing place! Their customer service is amazing! The food was very good and we didn't have to wait long at all. I'd highly recommend it to everyone.
Keep in consideration though, that the serving size is pretty small... a order of a burger and fries was about a 2 inch sandwich, and a pile of fries.

Great ice cream. Took my family there today for the first time. Delicious hot fudge sundae.

The name "frog hut" is enough to make me stop here :) Always a great place for icecream!

Ice cream, food, and drink in a traditional roadside walk up or walk in business. Quick and tasty. We always enjoy the frog theme and the outside seating.

Love this Frog Hut. Staff and owner are friendly. They make you feel right at home. Good selection of food. Love their smoked meats. They have the best fried chicken around. Soft and hard ice cream. Love Froggies!!!

A great hot dog, burger, and ice cream stand. Family owned. Yummy food and Perry's brand Ice cream. Indoor & outdoor seating. Plenty of off-street parking!

Totally adorable and fun to eat at. Pretty much all the food is perfect. Parking can be difficult in the summer. Soooo many icecream flavors and good french fries.
