The owner use to be one of the top construction people for Burning Man in Nevada. Coffee is smooth, the blueberry lemon scone is crunchy while fluffy, have a slow drink while browsing the art gallery. Take your time, relax; there is some good stuff to see and ponder!

Best espresso drinks ever! And the gallery space is amazing. It was a magical spot for our wedding. Our guests loved the lattes and other special drinks in the cafe. Made a great extra touch for us AND the car photo op can’t be beat. Ben and Siobhan are wonderful baristas. Thank you Suzanne and Pope for making it all work.

Great coffee and friendly staff. Perfect way to kick off a long bike ride. The attached art gallery was also nice to check out while sipping on a cup of Joe.

After camping at Outflow and a long bike ride the previous day, we decided to look through town for a chance of getting some coffee before another day of riding. I had low expectations. What a pleasant surprise to find this place. A total gem. Had 2 espressos and a delicious scone. As we were leaving, one of the owners told us the story of how the name came to be, very cool story! I will visit this coffee shop EVERY time I'm in the area. Fantastic way to start a ride/day.

Have been coming here during my camp trips over the last year or so. A Maple Latte and a Scone beats getting up and making coffee in the morning.

I also love that they have opened up the back with a small art gallery. Some pretty interesting pieces.

Also a great spot to work from on their fast internet. If you are in Confluence, definitely drop in.

We got into town on Sunday and had eyed this place to stop by when we had a chance and when they were open. So glad we stopped by! Their hot chocolate, mocha and Americano were so good. We also tried a few pastries that hit the spot. Owners were friendly and pleasant. Wish we had a place just like this back home.

No doubt, one of the only for real coffee shops in the area. Their espresso drinks and their cold press are fabulous, made with Commonplace Coffee from Pittsburgh. Try their burnt sugar latte, and their scones are also awesome! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee. What more could you want?

I had the pleasure of staying overnight at Tissue farm and waking up to amazing coffee and scones. Pope and Suzanne have a wonderful space with light and art everywhere. The room is clean and pleasant with an incredibly comfortable bed. The hosts are charismatic and I loved my stay!

An amazing gem in Confluence in a building beautifully restored — great art by regional artists and craft coffee from Commonplace out of Pittsburgh. Can't wait to go back and cozy up by the wood-burning stove.

Great coffee in a wonderful space full of art and local history. Perfect addition to downtown Confluence and close to nature.

We stopped and had coffee while riding the trail from PGH to DC and it was the best coffee of the trip - hands down!

We also loved the art. We purchased a bunch of pieces and they shipped it to us.

Amazing place and highly recommend stopping along the way!

Had a wonderful bacon and cheddar scone and the Americano hit the spot before a day a riding the GAP. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Pope, who is a five star human. As a solo GAP traveler it was so nice to connect with kind people along the trail - Pope and the team at Tissue Farm are just that. Make sure to make the visit!

Pope & Suzanne were great hosts! Made us feel right at home. Their small coffee shop has some great cookies. They had some gluten free items so all of us could enjoy some sweets. My wife loved the coffee and my hot chocolate was great. We’ll need to come back when it’s warmer and when artist in residence is there.

This place is cool and the service super friendly. The Common Grounds coffee they serve is superb. The scones are out of this world! Try the ginger lemon scone…omg.

Check out the art gallery they have in the transformed auto garage. We picked up some “art by Seth”

Amazing coffee and scones (savory and sweet), beautiful artwork and large inside area, some outside tables available. Gets busy on Sunday AM!

An amazing stay. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have a unique experience. The cozy wood stove is lovely, the views are spectacular. Right off the main square, near everything you need for your stay. Plus they're about to open a coffee shop and art gallery downstairs! Ask them to make you an espresso, they really know their coffee. Seriously.

Fantastic coffee, delicious baked goods, and warm & welcoming owners and staff. This is the highest quality coffee we've found yet on the GAP trail and we'll definitely be back! Can't recommend highly enough.

We took a slight detour off the GAP trail to enjoy the best cup of coffee of our entire trip! They also had outstanding raspberry thumbprint cookies. And the staff was super friendly.

We were lucky enough to stop by the café this afternoon-what a treat! Not only did we have delicious oatmilk cappucinos, and decadent chocolate cookies ( gluten free? Yum!), but we also were given a really sweet tour of the building, an introduction to their vision for arts and community in Confluence. Looking forward to more good cuppas and to seeing more of what Suzanne and Pope are planning.
