A family member had what turned out to be a minor issue (seemed possibly major initially) treated quickly and kindly at the ER. Every person we encountered was professional, yet warm. Could not ask for a better experience in a medical setting. Everything was clean and orderly, and everyone there gave "good vibes." From our experience, we're fortunate to have this hospital in our area. Thank you Geisinger St. Luke's!

I was recently admitted to your hospital for a several day stay. I must give credit when it’s due. The Er physician on my case before being admitted, was Dr. Gary Bonfante DO. He was absolutely incredible to me and my mother. He had genuine empathy towards a suffering human being. He was so kind, reassuring and helpful. He even got me a blanket, which is very rare for an Er Doctor. I felt like I was in good hands, and his kindness made the visit a lot less stressful. Thank you Dr Bonfante, you are appreciated more than you’ll ever know, please never change.

Now onto my next Doctor. This doctor was the nighttime hospitalist (nocturnist) . His name is Dr. Brian Reuter DO. This doctor is a true Diamond in the medical field. He is extremely intelligent and thorough. Before he met me, he told me he went over my entire medical history with a fine tooth comb. My medical history is the size of Texas lol. He informed me of absolutely everything happening. He explained things so well. He ran a certain test that no other doctor ever ran on me. He found something, that led me to a diagnosis from a specialist. I was suffering for years and because of Dr. Reuter, I now have a diagnosis. It was now caught in time for treatment. If he wouldn’t have done that 1 test, I don’t know if I ever would have known, and what could have happened without knowing. This doctor saved my life. This man deserves a raise, or a promotion. Please express my gratitude, and my families gratitude to him. You have an absolute gem of a doctor in him. He’s amazing with rare disorders. He’s also extremely kind and pleasant, made me feel a lot less anxious when I was in his presence. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Reuter, you are the type of doctor we so desperately need in this world. May you have a blessed life, and have many good things come your way, you deserve the absolute best. Thank you again.

Also, during my stay I’d like to mention two excellent women. RN Elizabeth on the 3rd floor is one of the best and caring nurses I have ever had, in all my 16 years of being hospitalized with chronic illness. She is amazing. Please recognize her. She was the nurse who wasn’t afraid to advocate for me, to ensure I didn’t suffer. Please thank her for me. Also, patient care assistant Michelle was absolutely lovely. Michelle got me everything I needed, with a smile on her face, and you can tell she is in the medical field because she cares. As a patient who gets hospitalized frequently, I can tell who is in the field for the money, and who is in the field because they care about others. Elizabeth and Michelle are definitely in the field because they care.

Should I ever be admitted again, I would hope to be under the care of the 4 people I mentioned above. Also, huge thanks to the kitchen staff, for helping me stay on a healthy diet while I was admitted. I give you all a 10 out of 10. Thank you again!

Went in yesterday . Was seen promptly. Addressed my concerns and was given nothing but professional and polite input from Dr.Jill Polancyzk and the nursing team at this facility. I hate the hospital and no one wants to come , but I am thankful for St. Luke’s and their medical team for attending to me yesterday .

Terrific facility. I actually enjoy my visits here - if you can say this about a hospital, it’s definitely a keeper. It’s silly to drive to Reading with this place located just over the hill and being far less crowded.

We are from out of town and my husband hurt his back. Looked for the closest hospital for treatment and this one was the closest. From the time we walked into this facility we were met with such pleasant and professional people. This unpleasant experience was made a little better by your staff. Thanks to the dr on call yesterday morning 7/6 and the two nurses who took care of him. Thank you so much!!

I stopped to take pictures of the hospital on Wednesday 10 November 2021. The last time I drove through here the hospital was still under construction. I did no go inside. The building looked impressive. While I was there a medical ambulance landed behind the building. Very cool. It was just the other day I looked up Geisinger Medicare while I was researching plans for next year. The Big G was definitely more pricier than the other plans I looked at. Geisinger wants $15 to see my PCP while the others charge zero for a co-payment.

Walked in with breathing issues. They took me right in. Food is good. Staff is courteous. Cat scans suck.

Awesome facility. Highly professional and friendly staff. Excellent atmosphere. Obviously, no one "wants" to go to the hospital, but this is the place to go should the need arise. They get 5 stars from me.

The best hospital I have ever been to. After being refused treatment at the hospital in Coledale I went to this hospital and was literally treated like a queen. They ran all the proper tests and treated me accordingly. I’ve had the same health issue for over a year now and nothing any hospital did or anything I ever did made me feel better, and this was the first and only time I ever left the hospital feeling 100% better. Everyone was friendly, professional and just overall amazing. They even called me a few days after my visit as a courtesy call to make sure I was doing okay and to come back if I wasn’t. This is my new go to hospital and I would recommend it to anyone. The doctors and staff are amazing at their job and they have the right personality for dealing with sick patients. Overall, extremely extremely pleased with my visit. I felt like I left the hospital being friends with everyone, like we should have set up a lunch date! They actually acted like they enjoyed their job and that it was an honorable pleasure treating me, their own words!

I had to have surgery on my knee, which was performed here. Every staff member from the front desk, to the nurses and doctors were wonderful. They showed so much kindness, compassion, and knowledge. I was very nervous and they all put me at ease and made something unpleasant much more doable.

My 85-year old grandfather couldn't say enough good things about his time spent here at St. Luke's during the holidays. The staff treated him like a king and made him feel like royalty, despite being in incredibly poor condition and with COVID. He bragged to me about the extensive menu of food options, as well as the giant TVs - two of his favorite things. Needless to say, he was sad to learn he would be transferred to a rehab center, despite that it meant he was getting better.

Thank you for your kindness and taking exceptional care of my dear grandfather!

I was admitted to Geisinger St. Luke's for an emergency appendectomy in March of 2022. This hospital is utterly exemplary in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. The doctors, PAs, RNs, and LPNs were knowledgeable, helpful, and amazingly kind. The dietary and cleaning staff are sweet and cheerful. Even the FOOD was decent. My care was top-notch in every possible facet and I am thankful for each person I met during my stay. Thank you!
