Wonderful Place, Great Service and Friendly. Very good food and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is a great collection of antiques and keeps the attention. The owner is extremely kind and fun loving which is a rare treat these days. We really enjoyed our breakfast and would highly recommend dining here.

What a gem, this family owned business is located in South Greensburg, Pa. The atmosphere is very farmhouse friendly. The dining area is decorated with animals, farmhouse signs, and quotes on the walls, which keep the customers engaged as well as the greeting when you walk through the door. The staff is attentive and friendly as well as efficient. The orders are cooked as ordered, fresh hot and delicious, but beware, the portions are not small! Come hungry or share a plate but take the time to eat at the South Greensburg Restaurant. There is always plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant or parking on the street.

We lucked into this gem of a restaurant. Went for breakfast and I had an omelet and my wife got eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. All perfect by the way but, my wife got a shock when her pancake came and it was the size of a pizza. They were very busy and we still waited less than other restaurants. Service was wonderful and jovial. There is patio seating as well to enjoy the fresh air with you meal. Everyone was just great, even the other customers. We felt like we had been going for years and we can't wait to go back. Go to this place! Take an appetite and a good attitude and you will love it as we did. Also, had the opportunity to meet the owner Anita, she was just a blast. I wish that I could say more about the food, the workers, the customers, and the atmosphere.

I'm here visiting from Houston, Tx and I miss my Mexican food 😋. My husband found this cute little family oriented restaurant so we thought we would try it. The first time for breakfast I ordered a pancake (had to literally take it home as it was so huge it took me all day to finish it 🤣😂). But since I found they have a Mexican Omelet and I can only describe it as...🤤🤤. They do get busy but to my surprise the wait time to get a table is rather quick (compared to other big chains in which I been to). Almost every Sat you will find me eating a Mexican Omelet 🥰

What more do you need? 🍳☕🙌

From the layout of the restaurant, to the home style service, this is easily one of my favorite breakfast spots after having a chance to visit this last week of April 🙂

“South Greensburg Restaurant” is a hidden gem and well occupied by the locals of the neighborhood. You can catch your morning shows while having a cup of coffee, or bring a small group to enjoy some perfectly made to order eggs… Whatever you choose, you’ll want to come back…

Great place for breakfast. Food is delicious and the owner is friendly and welcoming. Love the decor. Hidden gem and a must try.

Holy freakin PANCAKE. The pancake is HUGE. My wife and I went here today and it was amazing. The food is all fresh and homemade, even down to the sausage patties. The building is spectacular. One of the cleanest, coziest small town restaurants I’ve ever seen. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I can’t think of any criticism to give this place.

SUCH yummy HOMEMADE foods. The pancakes are not only huge and delicious (shout-out to the pumpkin pancakes), but they were also paired with REAL maple syrup. The cabbage rolls, burgers, and fries are super super yummy too. Plus, they brought over more than just plain black tea, when I ordered hot tea which I REALLY appreciated.

In general a nice change of pace and high quality chow. Restrooms were also cozy and clean.Thanks guys!!

OMG...our first time here, it was so incredible! The food was delicious! Staff made you feel like family! Can not wait to try other items on the menu! I got 2 Triple Berry Pancakes...They were so HUGE I have leftovers for 2 days! :)

Love these ladies and the best hash browns I've had in decades. Just passing through, but if I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely coming back! Locals are so lucky.

Nice "secret" place in the middle of Greensburg. Homey atmosphere and good food with good portion size. Recommended.

If you are ordering Lumberjack, beware! It is HUGE!!! 14in. Big! You might want a box. Other than that, food is fantastic.

We waited long to get our food. Others came in after us and was eating and done before we got our sandwiches one came in after and order with a big take out order after us and was out before we got ours. The sandwiches were very messy but good. There prices are much cheaper than others places. A very nice setting for a small place. I've never seen a place have so many soups on there menu. But they don't have all of them everyday. They carry 20 different kinds.

This place closes early in the day.. That's fine. I will never order a steak hoagie from anywhere else.. When I took my first bite I actually teared up because it was sooo good. All the other meals look amazing and the portions are LARGE. Staff was friendly.. Go there early... You won't be disappointed.

I love this place...it's a small business and my son loves the pancakes!
