Very nice in town restaurant. Surprisingly not busy for a Sunday brunch. The Brunch Buffet was very good, Great amount of options without being overwhelming. Very laid back and cozy. Comfortable seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back during the week for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful experience, I felt like I was having dinner at a friend's house. Staff very friendly but never overbearing. The atmosphere had a super cool vibe, and the food was amazing. A hidden gem, I'll definitely be going back. My wife and I shared a flight of infusions and I had the tacos, outstanding!

I was born in Greensburg and lived there for many years. I’ve been in Virginia for the last twenty years but still return to visit family.
My parents made reservations at Major Stokes for late Sunday morning. From the moment we walked in there was no doubt it was going to be a great experience. The decor is a mix of rustic, vintage, and shabby chic.
We sat out back in the open area and found the atmosphere perfect for a warm but comfortable late morning meal. The food was served in a buffet style for the brunch. Each item was perfectly prepared and the dishes were interchanged as the morning went on.
The drinks were generous very good. There were also desert items available. We are looking forward to our next visit in September!

Oh my gosh, this place was amazing. Sat at the bar and had sliders, pasta, and an infusions flight! You've got to try the infusions. They're amazing! Stopped here before a show at the palace and we will definitely be back!

This is an absolute gem to the area.

The food is excellent, the drink infusions are spectacular and the welcoming owners are magnificent.

They make you feel like you’re home-laughter and the many opportunities to share positive space with artists and wonderful people filled my eyes with joy and my belly with good food.

Can’t wait to hear the live bands on Fridays and be a part of this magnificent scene in the near upcoming March.

Amazing all around. Brunch buffet was simple but every element was delicious. Can’t wait to go back for lunch and dinner and to checkout the patio seating in the warmer months. Definitely our new favorite spot.

Really nice atmosphere. Interesting historical information about the building. Owner and Chef were very friendly and welcoming. The food was awesome. Went in to get lunch Saturday and got the corn & avocado salad, seafood risotto, and seared scallops. I loved them all. Well dressed fresh salad. Risotto was tasty and you could see the seafood in it. The scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Will definitely be back. Menu items are each less than $7 some only $4, which is very reasonable and allows you to try several different items. Really fresh food and the dishes are made to order. The menu changes each day and they are open every day except Monday. I'm really looking forward to coming back another day to try out different items.

My wife and I went there and we both were well pleased with everything about the restaurant. Staff was outstanding and answered all our "newbie" at the restaurant questions. They were very courteous and kind. The house salad, appetizers, main course, steak and stuffed crabs, were just perfect. As well as the sides. The desserts, which we took home were equally tasty. Even the owner/chef stopped out n chatted briefly. He, and the staff that particular day, were quite pleasant and seemed like really cool folks. We have no reason to not give this our highest recommendation. Enjoy!

As a restaurant professional, I’m pretty hard on a place when reviewing. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Service was excellent, food was very good and the space is pretty cool. I will definitely be back.

*update 2/2020 This restaurant just passed its first year w/ flying colors. Has continually added nice surprises for repeat visitors.

It was the first time eating here and we will definitely be back. The food was a fantastic, absolutely recommend going here if you have not yet been. Lots of great food

Adorable LOCAL restaurant. Has nice selection of Red Ribbon soda which is local as well We were in and out in an hour. Perfect for a lunch date. We enjoyed the daily specials - Pulled pork tacos and Filet mignon steak sandwich. Great vibe. Check out this 💎.

I LOVE this place! The menu (both food and bar) changes daily, and the food is amazing. I got the pear toast and chefs recommended pear craisin salad - both were so good. The atmosphere is very chill, it feels fancier than it is but it's also comfortable and there is a back room and outside area as well. They have events here and the tips go towards a local charity. I couldn't ask for a better place to go to in Greensburg and I can't wait to come back to try the brunch! It's super affordable and the staff is so kind - I highly recommend!

Stopped in to get my daughter a bite. I wasn't even hungry but ended up eating a good bit because the food was delicious. Better meal and atmosphere than chain restaurants. A safe different place to try where their is new and familiar things to try.

Hands down the best place I have been to in years. The food was absolutely fantastic extremely fresh an well proportioned. The Server/Bartenders were very polite an personable. Extremely professional establishment everything was very clean. #1 recommendation to anyone in the area. I will gladly be a repeat customer. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

What a fun & delicious place! I lived the small plate choices. The food is definitely French/American. The items are rich & flavorful, beautifully presented. Although the plates are priced fairly, it adds up when you want to try multiple dishes. The risotto was cooked perfectly. The French onion soup was sweet, maybe beer in the broth base? The chicken was excellent, light panko breading. The pork loin was a little tough, not sure why. The scallops we're barely done, melt in your mouth. The special was a strawberry/candied walnut spring mix salad, alone or add chicken breast, balsamic was excellent. The chocolate tureen is very rich with dried fruits & fudge. I suggest going with your girlfriends & trying everything!

This is my favorite Doordash restaurant in the Greensburg area. Finally decided to go dine in and was not disappointed.
The decor is eclectic. Historical chairs, art work by local artists, tables from local steel.

Food was some of the best quality.
Had a 1lb steak that was cook properly and tasted amazing. Salad had very fresh ingredients. The homemade infusions were delicious!

I plan to continue ordering through Doordash but will make it a point to stop in when I'm in town.

We stopped in while visiting from out of town. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Had the pork chops, with mashed potatoes and veggies. Two pork chops were big, juicy and delicious. As were the potatoes and veggies. Server was also friendly and engaging. Definitely recommend.

Delicious brunch as usual. Top quality. Owner and staff are very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

Very good salmon dinner cooked to perfection melts in your mouth not served undercooked or overcooked done just right but honestly everything I have ever eaten there is delicious 😋

We came for the Sunday brunch and all the the food was delicious and so tasty! The service and atmosphere was excellent, everyone was super friendly and so helpful. Will definitely be coming back in the next future.
