Ace-Robbins

Purchased a chest freezer after having been on a waiting list due to the “Great Freezer shortage of 2020.” Every aspect of purchase was exceptional, from the waitlist call to the delivery. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be doing future business with Ace Robbins and encouraging others I know to do the same.

I have a buried 1,000 gallon propane tank. I shop around for the best propane price. The last two times I've filled my tank, it has been with Ace-Robbins. How much more expensive is the competition? McCain Gas & Electric 1.96, Paraco 2.05 (both about twice as expensive.) Hinds 1.47 times as expensive. about a third more expensive. Why would anyone buy from any of them?

We were nearly out of oil and unable to use our typical supplier. I was beyond impressed that this company returned my call (which was after hours) and had our oil delivered in no time! Thank you so much... you saved us!

Always courteous, professional customer service. A little pricey, but what isn't these days.

Ace Robbins must sit around in a dark Smokey room and figure out the Max they can charge their customers for every bloody service they offer. Now they will charge $50 if you buy less then 150 gal of oil.

For a long time customer in town that's not bad enough but now the oil price is .50c more per gallon then another place in town. How is that possible!! The price has always been a dime or so higher but not that much. I'm sure they hedged oil buying as it went up over covid and they profited greatly selling at over 4.50 a gallon.

I've been buying for at least 7 years because they offered annual furnace cleanings. They insist on charging your CC before they even do the work and for about a 1/2 hr of service its 220$ which is another joke.

They were here two times a few winters ago to fix a problem and charged me over 400$ for each visit even thought the tech mis-diagnosed the problem the first time.

Then the next winter the part failed and they would wont not replace it. Not even a discount. Another $400

Called for a quote to replace my oil with nat gas furnace and again it was outrageous. It would take longer to recover the cost then i could save on switching.

Everyone is entitled to make a profit but come on man. The new generation running the business needs a lesson from the elder before its too late. Pigs get feed hogs get slaughtered.

I have no allegiance to any business and its largely based on price and i won't be taken advantage of as if they are the only place around.

Used them in the past for service. OK at that.

No weekend service, very narrow weekday hours(assuming no emergency response), so after arranging for someone to be available for a weekday appontment-

I called recently to schedule a quick repair on water heater, was told scheduling would call me back...and a day later, I was called only to hear that "I'm not going to be able to help you this time"...?

I offered to book weeks out to allow for slack/cancellations, but no - they just wouldn't take my business.

We are having nothing but problems with them they claim our day is monday we call to make sure they are delivering and change it to wed when we called a week ago and we already paid they do this everytime we get fuel 😡

Had Ace Robbins come out for a routine maintenance. It took 2 months to get an appointment. Air worked fine until they came. Technician tells me we are completely out of Freon. They charged me for 2 pounds which did nothing and suggested I replace the unit. My husband was able to find and replace the value they broke when placing the cover back on. After filling with Freon it works fine.

Called to book service earlier this week - before I could even explain the issue, a very rude phone person(Diane, I think) blurted out "we're not taking on any new customers "...end of discussion, because she wasn't hearing anything beyond that...
