Parkwood Inn

My husband and I are on a “ let’s find the best cheesesteak sub near us” mission. We stopped here last night and right now this is # 1. Excellent sub, fresh cut fries were delicious and the horseradish sauce they serve with it put everything over the top.
Not too expensive and the waitress was sooooooo nice and friendly. If you want a great home cooked dinner with a great waitstaff go here. ❤❤

Upon arrival, the restaurant portion of the building was empty, it didn't take long for that to turn around. Soon there was a line at the door. Food was very good, portions were large and the wait staff was very nice. We will be back. Deserts were homemade and very good.

So we had to call an audible for my birthday dinner. Italian is not my favorite but I enjoy it. Overall I was very happy with the food and service. Wedding soup was good, salad was on point bread was super soft. The cheese sticks were also great. My gnocchi was decent but the meatball that came with it was nothing short of delicious. My partner had spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. I ordered 5 more meatballs to go! Overall a 5 star for service and quality of food, even if I didn't love the gnocchi as much as the meatballs.

Great pizza, pastas and cocktails. The bolognese sauce & blue cheese for the salad is fantastic but could definitely go without the beets!

Stopped here before a show downtown. Our waiter (I believe his name was Rowan), was very friendly and polite. Our food came out quickly and the reuben I ordered was just about the best reuben I've ever had, and the fresh cut fries were delicious. I will definitely be returning to try some of their Italian food.

Been in the area a few times but first time eating here.

Sat at the bar, nice place, larger than apears from the outside.

Staff was awesome and well organized.

Waited for nothing.

We will be back.

We love Parkwood! We love that our favorite servers are back from Penn State for the holiday break. Lexi and Annie are sweet, attentive and make you feel like family!

These sandwiches make you question where you been and where you going. Who are the people exactly important in your life. Are you spending the appropriate time with them. Consider the facts.

Update: the pizza quality has dropped quite a bit. The last one I ordered was thick and doughy. Their pizza used to always be thin and crispy. No more😢
8/2020 update-got a pizza on a Thursday and it was excellent; thin and crispy like they’re known for.
8/2023 update-food has been consistently good.

Great food. Those special peppers are amazing on a sandwich or a salad. Will be back!

I’m usually a fan of the thick crust pizza. But this was undeniably delicious. I understand why my mom begged me to pick it up for her from Harrison city. Would recommend the thin square cut. The pepperoni was so good too!

Sometimes a little tight, but still a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. They do karaoke on Wednesdays I just discovered

Monday evening is "cheap spaghetti night." For one price, you get delicious salad, bread, and spaghetti. The price may have gone up a little, but I can't say for sure. It's still a very good deal in my opinion.

Stopped in for a lunch with friends. Picked this place from a map as we weren’t in familiar territory. We had an amazing server who was so helpful with our questions. She was kind and patient with us.
The food was delicious!! I saw other peoples food getting served and it all looked scrumptious. If I’m in the area again I will definitely stop back.
