A beautiful and historic country club on lovely grounds. They have both a friendly and professional staff. There is a piano both upstairs and downstairs, multiple fireplaces, and multiple bars. They feature what looked like a very nice pool, though I wasn't able to check it out due to the inclement weather. Arnold Palmer is featured extensively throughout, both in pictures and in name. I appreciated the fresh cut flowers throughout the building!

Absolutely fantastic! Rented a house on the course which provided golf privileges on the private course. Stayed in Deacon's View which was incredible inside and out. 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a spacious living area and kitchen downstairs. The backyard is amazing and has a pool. It overlooks the 2nd green, 3rd hole, 17th green and 18th tee. The best feature of the house was the massive amount of Arnold Palmer memorabilia on the walls. Very special. The course was beautiful, well maintained and challenging yet forgiving. The staff is incredible and very welcoming. We will be returning.

Arnies place. What else to say? Greens were tough. Left allot of strokes up there. Staff was great, course was well maintained. Make the trip.

I had planned my visit to Latrobe to show my respects to Mr. Palmer and his legacy. He is the reason I started and continue to play golf.
When I arrived the staff was very kind.
One of the employees (Jim) took the time to show me the facility and explain the history of Latrobe Country Club. I particularly enjoyed the stories about Mr Palmer's time at the club.
Thank you Jim for making my visit so memorable. Latrobe is a special place.

A very nice private club where Arnold Palmer had his roots. Lots of cool Arnie stuff to see. The course is very well maintained. It's a nice if somewhat hilly layout. A little cramped but definitely worth playing even without the Arnie connection.

Four couples made reservations for a golf weekend at Latrobe Country Club. We started the process in the spring this year because we wanted to stay in one of the guest homes on the property. We selected Deacon's View as it is a four-bedroom, 4 bath home at Latrobe Country Club. We were so fortunate in "the summer of rain" to have a spectacularly beautiful sunny weekend! Deacon's View is a fabulous home. The living rooms and kitchens are so large and comfortable. The outside decks, screened porch and private pool are major features! The home has every amenity including hair dryers, personal products, an ample supply of towels. It was very clean and inviting. We were left fresh fruit, juice, pastries, coffee by the staff. If you want to cook and eat there, you have plenty of everything you need, all the small appliances, etc.

The men very much enjoyed the golf at Latrobe Country Club. They said the course was in very good condition.

We had dinner in The Club Room on Friday night and Traudie took excellent care of us. The meals were well prepared and delicious! Laura, the food and beverage manager, arranged in advance to have a birthday cake prepared by a local source and it was delivered to our table after dinner to surprise our friends, one couple whose birthdays were being celebrated during our stay!

This is a first rate operation and we would highly, highly recommend this experience.

One of the best features of the weekend was both in Deacon's View and in the club house there are many, many photographs and awards Arnold Palmer has received throughout his life. It was fascinating to see all of the memorabilia. And we were made to feel as if we were at home. Good job everyone!

Some of the best dinner, service, golf and golf shop ever. Was lucky enough to meet Arnold's sister! She was just a gem. We laughed as we complimented each other's dress! Got 2 other couples for my husband's 60th to stay and play golf as a surprise. We all had the best time. Thank you all, friends and Latrobe patrons for a perfect weekend.

Had a great time at Latrobe C.C.! What a great experience to play and see where Mr. Palmer grew up and played. The course was in great condition and the history in the clubhouse was a real treat. The clubhouse manager (I think his name was Jack Smelson?) was super welcoming and accommodative. Highly reccommend!!

Amazing course.....course was in great shape, although the weather wasn't the best, I couldn't have cared less, I was playing on a course that Arnold Palmer himself owned and played...would love to play again when it's warmer and less rainy

Very nice club. They have a decent selection of drinks and the food was great. The golf was great with a beautiful and well kept course. A little on the pricy side but worth the extra if your a fan of ArnoldPalmer.
