Dr. Philip J. Dahar, DMD

Dr Dahar is the best orthodontist in my opinion and many others. He cares about you and your teeth and he always remembered me no matter how long it had been since i saw him. He always finds a way to make you comfortable. i remember i was scared to death when i was in 2nd grade just getting braces for the first time and he calmed me down and i was never afraid after that. He makes sure your always comfortable and all his staff are very inviting and sweet.

Dr Phillip Dahar is a phenomenal orthodontist. He is very passionate about what he does.
Especially he wants the best for every child that comes to his practice, such a wonderful human being period! I highly recommend him.

All four of my children are patients of Dr Philip Dahar. Three of them are currently in treatment. I know there are many other options including orthodontic teaching programs. I am 100% positive and glad I made the right decision by taking my children to Dahar Orthodontics. My children are given individual care and treatment by the same doctor. The staff is always accommodating to our needs and Dr Dahar treats my children like one of his own. They look forward to going to appointments and their teeth are looking beautiful!

Dr Philip Dahar has patients of all ages. He has a fantastic laboratory (Nowicki, Eddie) associate right on the premises. I’ve been to California and back trying to get my bite corrected. Finally my TMJ disorder has improved and it’s thanks to this team. The staff is extremely friendly. There is little to no wait time. The office is kid friendly but as an adult I feel right at home. I believe I see at least 2 other adults in the chairs at the same time I’m there each visit. It only took a few months to correct a problem I suffered with for years. After seeing at least five other specialists I found relieve here, in my own back yard.

We couldn’t be more pleased with Dahar Orthodontics! Both of my children were in braces as the same time. We showed up at our appointment times and never had to wait to be seen. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and Dr. Dahar always made a point to come out the waiting room to explain the kids’ progress. I highly recommend Dahar Orthodontics!

I remember being so nervous about braces when I was 12 years old. Dr. Dahar was beyond compassionate and made it a point to meet all of his patients. He once left a golf game on a Sunday afternoon to fix my braces when they were poking me in the mouth and causing sores, didn’t charge us for 2 bottom retainer repairs and adjusted my retainers at no appointment costs. When we walked in, receptionists knew our names (no, not because I always broke my braces or retainers! They knew everyone’s name) and it felt like Norm in “Cheers!” Such a wonderful atmosphere and every time I go to a dentist or orthodontist to check on my retainers, they always compliment my teeth and ask who “did” them because they are all impressed. I just went to an ortho doc recently who asked about my teeth and told him who helped me in PA (I’m in San Diego, CA) and he knew who Dr. Dahar is and said he had colleagues who always bragged about him. Such a coincidence!

This is a long review and a very positive one, a truly ask that you read the entire review because it covers everything I think you could need to know to trust that Dr. Dahar is an OUTSTANDING orthodontist, but also you Will without a doubt understand why I gave the review that I do and why I recommend him so incredibly highly to anyone and everyone.

If I could give 1 billion stars to Dr. Philip Dahar I would gladly even give more. Words cannot express how incredible and Orthodontist, and one of the most finest human beings I’ve been blessed to know throughout my entire life. Dr. Dahar has been treating both of my children with very complicated dental issues since my son started in 2016. Both my children presented very extreme cases in very different ways and we’re very challenging patients due to their complex Orthodontic needs. My son was born with missing two teeth that are located right beside the two front teeth (incisors) Therefore he had to position his braces in such a way that whenever the braces came off he was able to perfectly align top and bottom with absolute precision, so when his braces were removed he was fitted with a retainer that had two false teeth and were perfectly matched To his existing teeth. The calculation and perfection achieved gave my son the greatest confidence I’ve ever seen! The smile he thought he would never achieve or ever have was a reality!

Sadly, A month after his braces removed, and his smile was perfected…my son was savagely attackers at school, and his teeth were viciously slammed into a school sink where he suffered extensive traumatic dental and gum damage to the point of where he needed reconstruction and immediate attention. My son also suffered a severe concussion. Dr. Dahar saw him immediately following the next day, He opened up his calendar and fit him in immediately! My son, myself my husband and my daughter were devastated and thought he may lose his teeth, but thankfully due to his team and himself overlooking all of his care he was able to successfully brace his lower teeth together and provide immediate care and stability to his remaining teeth. The other dentist who saw him and worked on his broken and chipped teeth worked in tandem together with Dr. Dahar to make sure that Alex Would have the best recovery possible. This is now been over two weeks since the attack and I am very blessed and thankful to say that he is on his way to recovery. His bottom teeth are doing fantastic and after being wired together, over six teeth, and what they call speed bumps inserted, his two front teeth have been stabilized but are still unfortunately very loose. It is still a possibility of very real possibility, that Alex may have to have braces again due to the damage from this absolutely horrific and savage attack, but throughout the entire process there have been angels along the way and one of those angels I’m proud to say is Dr. Dahar. He reassured Alex, and with his kindness, compassion, and excellence and expertise in his craft, I know that Alex will then again have that smile he was so proud of just one month ago. Not only has he brought his confidence back once, but he’s bringing it back and reviving it for a second time. There aren’t enough words in the English language for me to express my gratitude towards Dr. Philip Dahar. There is not any other Orthodontist that I think that would take such great leaps and bounds to go over and above what he considers just doing his job, and saying that’s what I’m here for. No, Dr. day are you are an amazing orthodontist, and one of the finest human beings on the face of the earth. Our family knows how blessed we are that you have been purposely inserted into our lives, God must have known that this tragedy would happen to our son, but God also knew that you would be right there to put him back together... I know we still have a long way to go and his injuries and his journey is going to be a long one, but I can assure you that Alex, myself and my husband and of course our daughter are so glad that you are guiding his recovery❤

Dr. Philip Dahar is a great asset to the Dahar orthodontist! Dr. Dahar always makes you feel like the most important person in the room. He always makes my daughters feel like princesses. He treats us all with utmost respect. Dr. Dahar treated myself for TMJ! I always thought that the headaches were from sinuses and hereditary. After 2 weeks in treatment for TMJ, I had no more headaches and felt amazing!!!!

I highly would recommend Dr. Philip Dahar to anyone with TMJ and needing orthodontic treatment!

Both of my children went to Dahar Orthodontics and and as a result they have beautiful teeth. I can’t thank Dr Phil enough, he is simply the best and I highly recommend anyone who wants an amazing smile!

Been taking care of me and my brother since I was in second grade. Always good at keeping our teeth nice and straight. They make the experience of me and my brother personal, and like they care about making sure everything goes well with our teeth.

My son had his braces on for a little over 2 year. Dr. Dahar would spend 2 minutes with him at every appointment and that's it. It was just the dental assistance doing everything. Place is VERY unorganized and chaotic. Dr. Dahar took off his braces when we told him we feel they're not ready. Now my son has gaps in his teeth and still are crooked. I'd NEVER recommend him. Also tons of lies when we picked him, he said he had evening hours. There are 0 evening hours. They're in Greensburg every other week so if you have a problem with your braces and they're not in you can't see him for another week. Its seriously ridiculous. Money wasted, not good results.

6 years of orthodontists here. I felt tortured every time I went. Some times they just ripped my teeth out right there. Look how straight my teeth are!

Went to follow up with the dentist today about braces. Waited 1 hour to be seen. Then when we finally got to see him only to have him tell my 11 and 10 year old how awful their teeth are and that no one would be able to fix them if we didnt act soon. Told my daughter her teeth were so bad that " you want Mercedes orthodontist and your gonna get Volkswagen because of the issues. I have never had any professional who deals with children talk to a child like that. They were so upset and felt so bad about their teeth by the time we left. Never again. Thanks Dahar Orthodontics for the emotional scar.
