Rustic Creek Family Campground

First time for us here. We came with our kids (5 plus friend) and dog. Honestly I have no complaints other than the wet wood to burn with.
Kids had a great time with all they could do, us adults pretty much relaxed. All the other campers were friendly and welcoming.
Our dog loved all the pets he got from the other campers that would pet him.
Kids already want to go back after they made some friends. We will be back next year and bringing friends with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day Labor Day weekend at Rustic Creek!! It was our first time here & we were blown away by the friendly staff & visitors, the kid friendly activities, the clean & refreshing pool and the amazing fireworks display! The food & drinks are delicious & fairly priced, the tent sites are very spacious, right on the creek & the bathrooms were clean. I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially families with kids! We’re already planning our next reservation.😃

Last year was the first time my family was here, and immediately we fell in love with this campground. We enjoyed it so much here that we decided to have my daughters birthday party here this year, it was beautiful and everyone had a blast. Despite any hiccups the staff and owners were wonderful and so very helpful. We stayed in the cabin which is so clean and comfy. Even with all the rain and mud, the kids loved playing in it, but the staff kept checking on us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything not to hesitate. We all met so many new friends, this is definitely our goto family vacation. So thankful we found this amazing place!

Great campground. Very wooded, peaceful, beautiful creek running right thru it. Well stocked store. Beautiful pool. Large clean grassy dog park. Very friendly owners, staff, and seasonal campers. You gotta stay here! Beautiful area

Hi we re from Florida and we stayed in tents for a week with our 3 dogs so family could visit with us I had camped here on and off for over 30 years and I must say, this is the BEST it has EVER been The game room and the laundry center are modern and so clean as well as the restrooms and showers! Supplies were also reasonably priced at their well-stocked camp store Thanks for your hospitality!

We planned on a 2 night stay on our way to Canada. Ended up staying 4 nights as we enjoyed the campground and town. We encountered a mishap with our motorhome. The owner Mark was helpful, friendly and kind in helping us out. We plan to return again in the future!

Where do I begin: Let me 1st say that it would be hugely unfair to judge this park by a quick drive through or glance. It takes staying a few days to appreciate the creekside sites, the welcoming atmosphere, the wildlife (chipmunks, rabbits and birds) roaming freely, the generous and family feel the owner Mark, his lovely wife and his amazing staff pour upon you. Nearly every day, we saw staff working hard to keep this lovely hidden gem in peak condition. Cutting limbs, filling divets in the road, cutting grass and weeding around trees. We spent 8 nights here and the longer we stayed the more we hated to leave. A BIG BIG thank you to each and every staff member (wish I could remember all their names) for being so kind and generous and caring. Mark’s motto is “you arrive as guest and leave as family” and this is nothing but the truth. This is our 1st visit here and no doubt the next time we are visiting again to see our son play baseball with the RailRiders, there is no doubt, we will being staying here.
One last thing: This place is perfect for pets and family/children. Lots of walking places, a great pet yard, creekside access, children’s playground, swimming pool and many little extras.
Amenities: We have a 37 ft Class A with a pull behind and we had a great pull through site complete with 50 amp, water, sewage and cable access. We didn’t use the cable as we have starlink and we had no problems with our starlink here.

First time staying there back in July 2022 in RV. Property was well cared for. Pricing was very reasonable. Website has all information. Had 2 storms blow through which knocked out all amenities. Staff kept everyone informed of when power and water would be back on. Kudos. Store was well stocked. Outdoor Pool was well maintained. Friendly campers always willing to lend a hand. Planned activities well thought out and good time had by all. Owners are updating or installing new equipment now. Will definitely return.

Rustic Creek Family Campground is a wonderful place to get away. They have lots of activities for everyone and many themed weekends. There is access to the creek for tubing or just swimming. Our dog loves swimming in the creek to cool off. There is also a pool of the creek is not your thing.They have the best firework shows on holiday weekends.the sites are a good size and the people are really friendly. Highly recommend visiting there.

The wife and I Stayed there on 9/8/23-9/11/23, it was very peaceful, owners we very personable, the campground was very clean everyone was very friendly,will definitely return,definitely a very good weekend

We are staying our first weekend here in years. The last time we stayed was a few owners ago. We had the pleasure of meeting the new owners this evening. She was so helpful in answering my questions and very welcoming. I have a 10 year old boy that is having a great time. Swimming at the pool, swimming and playing down at the creek, jumping pillow, pedal karts, dancing with the DJ....This weekend has been full of wonderful activities for kids and adults. Our campsite is very reasonably sized. I felt we had enough room without being cramped. The bathrooms are clean. The ice cream was delicious. We will definitely return. We would love to have a seasonal site here.

Just got back home from taking my 2 kids here we had a great time.. the staff was awesome before I came they called me telling me that they had to move my campsite but I'm glad they did they moves me to a better spot but overall we had a great time didn't want to leave and I sure will be back..

Loved our stay last weekend. Very clean and family friendly. It was quiet and peaceful. My boys loved all the activities and being able to enjoy the pool. We didn't get to come in the store for ice cream but it's part of our plan the next time we come. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience. Oh an awesome fireworks display 😍

My husband and I came for a weekend 3 years ago and ended up staying for two months because it felt like home. This will be our 3rd year as seasonal campers. Things have only gotten better under the new owners. We look forward to spending every weekend at our camper with our camping family at Rustic Creek.

This will be our 5th season at Rustic Creek and we absolutely love it. Wouldn't even think of camping anywhere else. Lisa & Marc have made super great improvements and are working hard on other great projects for the campground. Everyone who works there, especially Jill & Lisa, make you feel welcome and like family while you are staying. My daughter is NOT a camper but she travels from North Carolina every year to stay at Rustic Creek. You can't make a better choice than Rustic Creek Family Campground

The new owners are AMAZING! We had a fantastic week here! We camped in the primitive tent sites beside the creek for a week. The campground itself was very nice and the site we stayed at was right by the water! The bathrooms and showers were clean. There are so many fun things to do there including an arcade, a jumping pillow, a play ground, a pool, and a dog park. Our pup absolutely loved the dog park and being able to swim in the creek. The staff is incredibly friendly and go out of there way to make your stay perfect. You can purchase firewood at the camp store and it is delivered right to your site! The camp store also has tons of different drinks and snacks as well as some really good ice cream! The new owners have big plans to continually improve the campground and their hard work and dedication really shows. If you get the chance, you HAVE to stay here!

Great place to camp. We wanted to be somewhat close to home and just far enough away. The new owners became like family. They treat us very well and are making lots of changes. My 8 year old has a blast and can’t wait to get there for the weekends. The arcade has been upgraded and the kids love it. The bounce pillow is always a hit . Keep in mind that the place was in need of a lot of repairs and upgrades that they have been right on top of them since taking over so be patient. Any ideas I’ve had they have been open to listening to and are planning on more and more upgrades in the coming season. Give them a chance and I assure you that you won’t be disappointed. The staff in the store has always been pleasant and accommodating, they’ve always taken time to talk to my kids and make sure they have fun which goes a long way in my book. I’ve read other reviews on here about the place and a few issues I’ve seen with them , such as people couldn’t find the dumpsters, you literally drive past them on the way into the grounds, a bit of a walk but keep in mind you’re in the woods and there are animals so I don’t mind traveling to throw my trash because I’d rather not have a bear peeking through my windows. And there was complaints about the staff, once again there is new owners as of the beginning of the year so unless you’ve read a review written since January you can dismiss them. Marc and Lisa are working diligently to bring everything up to par and would love to see new faces. Give it a try

We absolutely loved our stay. So clean! Cleanest bathrooms I have seen. Staff was extremely friendly. Quiet. Kids had so much fun. Not that we seen them much. They had so much to keep them entertained. Prices were very reasonable. Best milk shakes! Can't wait to go back!!!! Thank you for an amazing vacation. Hope to see you all soon !!!

My stay here was over the 4th of July weekend It's not the 1st time I've stayed at this campground Management does the best they can do to meet your every need. if there is ever a problem just let them know and they will fix it I have seen the reviews about the road people need to understand This is a campground not an asphalt farm Always remember to do the speed limit That is posted plenty of kids running in-and-out of everywhere It is a family campground. The store has plenty of things for your camping needs Don't be shocked When they tell you you cannot bring your own camp firewood You must purchase it there They are not the only campground that does this. I will definitely say that again don't really have any issues. 5 star reviews all the way!
