They'll also be honest if it can't be fixed. The BEST alteration service in the world! I've tried them all! And now I'm about to mail a precious piece (a favorite linen shirt of mine with a tear) to Altered Ego for fixing and after fixing it'll be mailed back to me. Superb service all around!! I just picked up my wedding gown today and could not have asked for better alterations and customer service throughout.

I brought in quite the project dress that needed top to bottom alterations to remove length, move pesky appliqués, lots of buttons, sleeves, and bustling and they totally nailed it all! Besides their skills, they were also so kind, all the way back to my initial phone call to walking through and recording the bustling at the final appointment. Needless to say, the entire process was seamless ;) I’m so glad to have found their business!

Sarah was so incredibly helpful! She spent an hour going through my options with me, even after we decided that alterations weren't necessary. She took the time to help me experiment until I found an option that enabled me to feel confident and secure in my deep V neckline. I cannot recommend her expertise enough!

Excellent service and quick turnaround! I took my special needs brother here to have some of his new jeans hemmed and the two ladies at the desk were amazing with him. They were patient and made sure he had exactly what he needed done. Not to mention they made room in their schedule to make sure he had the items returned before the Thanksgiving holiday. I would highly recommend!

I had alterations done to my wedding dress here and had a great experience! They were prompt to respond to phone messages, got me in at a reasonable time for a fitting (not too close to the date but not too far away either) and did a fantastic job on my dress. They made what could have been a stressful experience a really great one! Great customer service and great work. I'll recommend them to anyone.

These women are absolutely amazing. They've been working with me on alterations to a vintage dress that I'm wearing for my wedding, and they've been nothing but positive, accommodating, professional, and sweet. Their work is just about perfect, and their experience is evident with their attention to detail and precise work. I couldn't be more pleased.

This team is fantastic. I sew, I knit, and yet I have...well, now had....a mending/alter/hem pile a mile high. Altered Ego does the best work. They saw the vision I had in a sweater dress alteration AND a sweatshirt to cardigan idea. Also, my pants to hem stack is now all in my drawer being worn. I’m so grateful for their talent, skills, and knowledge!

Moscow has been in incredible need of a place like Altered Ego for so long. I am getting so many long forgotten and broken clothing items fixed and they are so fast and do the best job ever. I have had jeans zippers replaced, the 7-8' cushion on my couch replaced and am about to take a bunch of skirts, pants and more to be fixed. My son has also taken the best sewing lessons ever with Chelsey. He absolutely loves his time with her. The space is beautiful and everyone at Altered Ego is so welcoming, creative and so precise and detailed in their work. I really hope that they expand and start carrying fabric and other cool sewing notions and I can't wait to go to one of their sewing evenings where I can just take my machine and work there and get stuff done in the company of other crafters.

We run a small farm in Moscow and had a box full of repairs and alterations we needed done. After a great consultation and just one week later we received our box of clothes back. Not only were all the repairs done well, they were professional. The custom pieces of clothing, which were no easy feat I'm sure, we amazing! Just what we wanted. Altered Ego offers a much-needed service for the Moscow area. I have taken work clothes that needed to be altered, and not only did they do a wonderful job, but had a quick-turnaround time with reasonable prices. I will absolutely continue to go to them and refer people to them often!

Quality work and pleasant customer service! Sarah is absolutely helpful and amazing. I wouldn't say it is super fast, but it is reasonable. Regarding prices, they are also reasonable.

I worked with Sarah to last minute alter my wedding dress. She took in the sides, altered the straps, and hemmed the train. It turned out wonderful!

I went to the talented ladies at Altered Ego with a toddler halloween costume emergency. My mom had sewed a Max suit from Where the Wild Things Are for our two year old, and mailed it from 6 hours away. Unfortunately when it arrived it was too small, with only a week until Halloween. Altered Ego had a special Halloween costume emergency clinic, and they added inches to the costume in a nearly invisible way. Just in time, too. It is our child's most prized possession and now our only problem is getting him to take it off!

I have been going to Chelsey for alterations for several years, long before Altered Ego made it's adorable debut. It is so nice to have a convenient, reliable, and skilled Moscow business for badly fitting pants, broken bits, custom projects, and learning opportunities.

I've had several items adjusted here and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices seem reasonable as well, but it can take a while to get work done so plan ahead!

I get measured here once a year for my bespoke items. The service is outstanding and I highly recommend them to everyone needing to get professionally measured.
