Independence Health Frick Hospital

My 1 year old daughter came here for an allergic reaction. Our nurse and doctor were very kind and patient with our daughter. The nurse even made our daughter a water balloon out of a glove to keep her preoccupied. We got transferred to children’s hospital, but i appreciate the quickness, attentiveness and kindness the staff here showed us! Thank you for keeping our daughter safe.

I go to the Short Stay Unit at Frick Hospital weekly for an infusion. The nurses are so kind and get me in and out as quickly as they can no matter how busy they are...and believe me, they are always busy. I recently started pulmonary rehabilitation and do that twice a week and the staff is just really great. That haha been my experience.

I went to Frick ER on Saturday, Jan 14, 2023 to be treated for a ski injury. The staff was ver prompt and polite. I felt very comfortable and was treated and out of there in record time for an ER. Special thanks to Dr. Victory and to Gaby.

After 12 hours in a nearby hospital and no diagnosis we went to Frick.
The staff are friendly to start. No waiting long in the ER, exam rooms are nice, lots of attention paid to our comfort and a diagnosis in about two hours!

Growing up I had a pretty awful relationship with Excela Health in general. My grandma died at one of their hospitals and I felt that their care wasn't up to par with other medical groups, but my mother was hospitalized over the weekend, started at the ED in Latrobe and transferred to Frick, and let me tell you, over the last 10 years, they have improved. The nurses are so kind and friendly, they enjoy talking to their patients, and they are so helpful. Both Latrobe and Frick hospital treated her so well and I have never been so relieved and impressed by health care workers.

Everyone has bad experiences, but don't hold that grudge forever! Locations change and I am so grateful to my mom's nurse. She was wonderful. Thank you for taking care of her!

I just got home from the ER. The staff, and I mean every person who assisted me, was amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Dr's and nurses. The xray techs, to the lady taking my blood; all amazing. I was terrified and a mess. They were all kind and treated me with respect. They were so on top of things, I thought I was only one there. Thank you to each and every one of you!

The emergency room staff was amazing and got my baby girl seen in minutes and tested her for something I KNEW she had been exposed to and she tested positive. Thank you to all the staff that was there tonight to help my little girl get better after an idiot Dr in WV told me there was nothing wrong but a upper respiratory infection.

I can say enough about this beautiful hospital!! The ER was very well organized very fast and to the point. They had proper care set in pretty quickly for me. Everyone was very helpful an caring during my stay always right there when I needed them.

Jonathan has been my nurse a lot lately A plus service. Tiffany was my nurse tonight with Dr hemine (hope that's correct) but thank you both so very much for being so wonderful and not being judgmental please don't ever change because it's doctors like you and nurses like you that we need more of in this world!! Dr yurik and doctor weisinger please also never change and never stop serving your patients as they deserve to be served and not judging them just by the fact that they're a frequent flyers or etc you are all appreciated so much for not looking at those things we need more like you in this world badly!!!

Came in on a Saturday with no appointment for bloodwork and other tests. Was immediately taken care of
of. Pleasant experience. Friendly staff. Dr.Madaan is the best PCP I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Despite the ongoing construction at Excela Frick Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the new renovations are absolutely gorgeous. The staff and signage are great and help to get you where you need to be. I love being sent to the newly opened cardiology office on the third floor to run Dr. Lawrence DeNino's patients. The staff is great and fun to work with. #ExcelaPride.

Went in for a turkey through a windshield of a SeMI. Glass in my feet head and face . They took absoultley great care of me and I'm from Missouri probably one of the best hospital I have been do . The doctor came in multiple times to check on me. Missouri you see the doctor once ! Thank you for making my 6 hours there a good experience for a bad situation .

I spent 10 day there. then I was transported to mercy. Now iam in a rehabilitation center. Your hospital was a 10 compared to theses places Iam very surprised how clean you keep the hospital. And your food is definitely 10 times better than the other places. Keep up the good work n ty...

I was checked in quickly and taken where I needed to be. I also had a question on the way out and the lady at the desk was very helpful. Tech was very courteous and got me through the tests quickly.

Fantastic lab team at Frick Hosptial. I walked in without a script for blood work and they were able to call my PCP to get it faxed to them. Thanks for going above and beyound with your service!

Parking access easy to find your way around.. people and staff all are very nice enjoy getting my pickup everyday there!!!

I had wonderful care at Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant, PA in the lab for blood work. Everyone was very friendly and the facility was very clean.
