Westmoreland County Magisterial District Court 10-1-04 MDJ Cheryl Peck Yakopec

I was going through a very difficult time in my life, she showed care, and compassion. She put a very bad cop behind bars, I reported to the attorney general, and fbi. I lost all faith in the justice system, she showed me that, there are still some good people in the world. I believe she is one.

This judge is a very fair person. She is tough on people without being aggressive and seaming to be uncaring. She does well with kids getting her point across. Making them think about their actions and what could happen if they keep going in the wrong direction. I think she is a great judge and i hope she decides to stay on the bench for a long time.

She was very knowledgeable and fair in our court case.

Appears to be running a scam of some sort.dismissed /closed cases and all the sudden fines pop up. Got my lawyer on the case hope it is just a error and not a crooked scheme she is pulling I hate having to drive to Harrisburg to deal with crooked judges. Upon settling this case I will update my review I pray that it ends in a 5 star rating as of now 12/14/2017 it's not looking so hot.

Update: 12/15/17. My lawyer got a lot more answers and got it all squared away. The fines should be dismissed as the abandon home was demolished. Atleast her staff had a comprehension of the laws and a understanding of what was going on. My lawyer was the best. A few simple calls and a fax all settled.

Terrible Judge please please do not vote for her come reelection! Father passed away and we’re unable to show for hearing for ticket and she would not rebook and made us pay the ticket! Another thing is we were sent someone else’s ticket with their private HIPAA information including their name, address, dob, plate number and more! Get her out!!!!!

Judge very rude. I am a single mom with a young child. I have no family up here to help with my son. Had to bring him with me she was extremely rude, my appointment was for 315 they didn't call us back til 345. She took it upon herself to yell at my child.. my child was obviously restless/tired & was ready to go home. She did not care to see any of my paper work that I gathered for the traffic stop.
