The Nail Box

To be honest I know very little about nails so I didn’t book an appointment in advance because I didn’t know the terminology for everything. This was my first time EVER here. I’ve never gotten any designs on my nails prior because I’m just scared to have it be messed up. I stick to a plain color normally but today I decided to be bold. I called ahead to see if they were taking walk-ins which they were thankfully. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and got seated less than five minutes after arriving. I had Maria and she was very welcoming. I’ve never had my nails done before with the technique that she was doing. IT WAS THE BEST!! Perfect shape and design (I showed her a reference photo) The girl sitting next to me also getting her nails done was actually the receptionist who took their day off and was there getting their nails done too!! Everyone there was extremely nice. Great overall atmosphere!! I was expecting it to be more pricy but the cost was fair and well priced. Everyone there is trained and the receptionist next to me was getting a very detailed design on each nail! True artwork!! I have absolutely no complaints and this will be my new go-to nail salon!

It was my first time here at the Nail Box on December 22, 2023. Jason did my gel nails and it was so good that today is 1/4/24 all of the gels are still intact. The color I chose is extremely hard to polish, let’s be friends required three thin coats in order for this to be beautiful.

If you know me personally, you know these hands will never be perfect. From lifting cases to popping bottles, it’s adulting rough 😂

So lately I’ve thinking more about self care. Especially being a guy, I’ve always did my own manicures. I mean what normal guy really takes time out of their day to go get a professional manicure right?

For the past couple months I’ve been driving across the bridge into Jersey just about everyday, couldn’t help it but notice there’s a nail salon spa just about every turn you take. That got me thinking hmm let me get out of my comfort zone and treat myself, a manicure it was. The chosen spot, The Nail Box @thenailboxnj. I feel really lucky to have discovered this place. Upon walking in to be greeted by the front desk person, you just feel comfortable and know you’ll be taken care of. Then just the walk to your spot, from the clients to the techs, all smiles, it really did feel like home, I felt super comfortable. The service, absolutely amazing! They know what they are doing there. Highly recommended, check them out. Next up on my self care moment, pedicure 😉😂

Update: The owner contacted me and asked that I come back to have my nails redone at no charge. I returned on 8/25/2023 and had another wonderful experience! Jason redid my nails and they look beautiful!! He did the dip a bit thicker which should hopefully prevent any little chips on the corners. He truly cares about his customers and their satisfaction and was really pleased that I returned to have them fix my nails. I will update again here in a couple of weeks. 💅🏻🥰

I’m slightly disappointed in the quality of my dip manicure. I got my nails done on Friday 8/18/2023 and there are a few chips as well as ripples just 1 day later. The overall service that I received was wonderful, but the quality is not the best.

Great service by Jason today for an acrylic fill in with gel polish. Their new cat eye polish is awesome! I had great conversation with Jason and felt valued as a long time customer. I’ll keep coming back!

BEST NAIL SALON I’VE EVER BEEN TO!! They are so kind and customer service oriented. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and technique is excellent. One of the only salons that HAS NOT drawn blood while attending to my cuticles. I had Vincent and will most definitely be going back again and requesting him.

I have been to numerous nail salons and just couldn't find one that could do designs, shape just overall bad customer service. I visited The Nail Box when they first opened but stopped just wanting to be closer to home. Jason did my nails today and he is simply amazing and a true perfectionist. Thank u again!!

Organized, clean, nice environment. I enjoyed their music selection. Made a reservation online and there was no waiting once we got there. They took their time and put effort into the pedicure. Also enjoyed the warm and friendly girl at the front! Will be back!

Loved my experience here! Everyone is so friendly, place is clean. I've never had my nails done before so was nervous about the first experience. Paul was lovely. I didn't know how to articulate what I wanted and he got it spot on! Adore my nails now- immediate confidence boost!! Will 100% be back.

I just got a manicure and pedicure for the first time here and I am very pleased with the service! Maria was my nail tech and not only did an amazing job but was also extremely sweet! I was able to get a manicure and pedicure in just a little over an hour. I also loved all of the holiday decorations, made it feel welcoming. Will definitely be returning!

I have been to The Nail Box twice and had a great experience both times. They're patient if you're undecisive on color and shape like I am. What I love most about this place is, they don't add on to your price as you go like other places I've been; where everything is "$5 extra ok?" In a condescending tone. They're not like that. They also serve mimosas and bottled water...yes!! Jason did my nails both times, and he's good. Hope you enjoy going there too😉

Too good. Absolutely wonderful from the decorations to the people working there, I’m typing this from the ride back (which is 30min btw). I’ve never been to a place more welcoming, friendly, and cleannn. My Acrylic nails were done by Jason he’s so talented I’ve gotta say these are probably the best nails I’ve ever gotten done! To the shape all the way to the gems, he really got me right for my birthday. I recommend this place 110% to anyone and everyone. I will be going back and I hope soon. After washing my hands I couldn’t stop smiling I’m so happy with my nails. The music is another plus and during my time there Jason would ask me if I was okay or if he had hurt me it was kinda funny but at the same time really nice to see him check up on me and care. Conversation was nice and he’s really cool so were the other workers that were there. I love everything about this place and I will come back soon. All Love

I just treated myself to a gel mani and gel rejuvenating pedi for my birthday. I had made an appointment and was seated right away. They are so friendly and courteous. They make you feel comfortable and welcome. To top it off they serve mimosas if you ask. 2nd time here an I love this place!

It’s taken me waaaaaay too long to post this review! I’ve been here multiple times, and have never been disappointed. Milki, Tim, Vince , Sophia, Jason, are all amazing. I get hard gel, almond shape. To me, it’s all about the shaping. I found them on Instagram and I’m so happy I did. Tip them well because everyone here is working their butt off to make their customers happy!

Yesterday was my second time coming here! I have finally found a place that does dip well and it lasts!! I will definitely keep coming here!

What a welcoming environment. Jason greeted us with warmth and attention. Jenny & Kimmy took care of us with excellence. Their Hot Stone Pedicure is a must.

A+++++ My new nail salon! From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left the salon, I felt very comfortable and at home! The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Jason, the owner, who provided my service was very kind, and considerate and a pure perfectionist with my pink acrylic fill-in! My pedicure was wonderful and flawless too! The salon was very clean, quiet and relaxing! I highly recommend this salon!!!

Saw a post on a Facebook group about a month ago recommending The Nail Box on Greentree in Marlton. Just here to say I can 10/10 back that post up. Went today for the first time today for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. EVERYONE there is SO nice, my nails turned out incredible (they were pretty messed up from a prior salon in the area that I won’t name), and they truly engage with each customer on a personal level. Paul was my technician and did amazing on my nails and toes. He was gentle, didn’t over pick at my cuticles or use the drill until my fingers burned, made conversation with me, and was overall a pleasure. One of the gentleman (I believe the owner) working asked how I heard about them. I told him and he thanked me for coming in and supporting them. He also gave me a mimosa and a stylus so I could play on my phone while I got my pedicure and my old dip soaked off of my nails. They are also so CLEAN! ANY station that is used is immediately sprayed down and wiped. They use the plastic stretchy covers for pedicures and even after removing everything, they spray the tub and chair down. They pay such attention to so many small details that make the salon experience more enjoyable. Will 1000% be returning.

my friend recommended this place and I was not disappointed at all!! got a wonderful dip powder set- it was very reasonably priced, and they have the friendliest staff! I’ll definitely be coming back :)
