The Skidder Shop - Horlacher & Sherwood Forestry Equipment

This is a great mechanic shop, owned locally, and specializing in large equipment repair. They also carry a full line of woodsman's supplies including: chainsaw chains, oil, malls, wedges, and larger equipment for cutting trees. They also do some small engine repair as well.

😁😁😁😁😁Took my Post Hole Digger to the Skidder Shop (Horlacher Sherwood) in Tunkhannock, because it wouldn't start. Later that day, Bryce the Mechanic called and said the Post Hole Digger was done. He further explained that the ethanol in the fuel contaminated the carburetor and he resolved the problem. I really like Bryce's professional and courteous demeanor. I have tried other small engine repair shops in my area (Tunkhannock) and was not very pleased with their service. I finally found a place and Mechanic I can trust.
As I understand it, Bryce holds numerous certification in small engine repairs. Thank you Bryce and Good Luck in your start up. Bob Russell

No one at the front desk for 20 minutes. Then when the guy finally gets there he answers the phone rather than wait on the people who have been standing there for so long. Nice guy, not his fault. Poorly managed store.
