Hampton Inn Tunkhannock

My second time here. They are top notch. Newer building and crazy clean. Really nice breakfast included. The make your own waffles were a hit! The western omelette halves were amazing. My daughter was looking forward to the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies but they only had scones when we arrived. I mentioned it jokingly, and the next morning they gave us a whole batch of cookies to take home. They are amazing!

Loved this hotel! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options.

One of my favorite hotels. The manager Kara and all of the staff are wonderful. The property is spotless, you can tell they take pride in their building. The breakfast is great, they always have snacks and coffee.

Excellent hotel amongst the trees. Very modern and nice accomodations. Everything worked perfectly, no surprises. Delicious breakfast and variety from day to day. Highly recommend!

Hampton Inn in Tunkhannock, PA went above and beyond for our wedding. Our room block for our wedding at The Old Carter Barn went smoothly as Kara, Tabitha, and Charisma came to the rescue for any question we had. The team was even kind enough to let us store some food in the hotel's fridge. They were all so willing to help and even give out our goodie bags we brought to all our guests. We appreciate their kindness and help, every guest we saw the next morning mentioned they loved their stay. Future brides: the morning after at breakfast is a highlight. I got to say goodbye to everyone, and all the employees were so gracious and supportive of our moment. The team even moved mountains to get us early check in and my parents on the same floor as us. They even called the groom to remind him his shuttle arrived.Thank you Hampton Inn!

We were very happy with our stay here. So much good to say...the room was very clean and smelled fresh. There were plenty of towels & wash cloths. I appreciate this because at many other hotels I usually have to call and ask for more. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. We never heard any sounds from other guests so it was nice & quiet. I was able to check in/out using the Hilton honors app where I got my digital room key. Also, when we left the hotel, about half an hour later we got a phone call because we had forgotten some clothes hanging in the closet of the room. They were kind enough to hold them at the front desk and we were able to come back and get them. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Awesome job, Hampton Inn!!

We just stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The hotel was very accommodating to our large family. I have never been to a hotel where all the staff members were so friendly. Thanks for adding to our magical weekend.

I recently (March 11, 2023) used this hotel for a wedding block for my wedding. They truly went above and beyond from the time of booking our block up until the last guest left. They were incredibly accommodating, flexible, professional and responsive. They even figured out an alternative when my groomsmen got too loud in their rooms. The space is clean, staff is kind and professional, and the little sitting area on the first floor is so cute! Definitely recommend them!

The hotel was wonderful! Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was very clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. The shower had great pressure. They had a wide variety for Breakfast! The mini waffles were delicious. And the lemon cookies they put out in the afternoon are to die for! Would definitely stay again!

We are staying at the Hampton Inn Tunkhannock, PA for two nights. The first night we arrived at 10PM for late check-in and received the warmest greeting from the front desk staff. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel grounds are well kept and the lobby area is noticeably clean. Upon entering the hotel room we detected a pleasant scent of disinfectant and freshness. The hotel room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the breakfast room staff are conscientious and very nice. Thank you Hampton for a very pleasant experience! We will be back.

Great weekend away with the family including the dog. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was good and games were even avail at the front desk for the kids. Would stay again!

Small and quiet location on the eastern outskirts of Tunkhannock. Friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Indoor pool and exercise equipment available. Close by to two gas stations. Walmart is a few minutes away if you need supplies. Nice little town with sidewalks on both sides of the road if you want to go for a walk or jog.

Amazing staff members, check in was quick and easy, the cleanliness of the Hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was extremely good, what made it even better was that during the time at the Hotel they had coffee, Hot Chocolate, Tea, and cookies out for there guest. Which made it better for our kids to snack on. Thank You for an Amazing Job well done.

This was my second time staying at this location. I am a Hilton Honors member and when I joined, my friend who was with me at the time and I received complementary drinks and snacks. This time when another friend of mine and her daughter came with me, we didn't receive anything. There was a display case that showed some of the drinks and snacks you can choose from, were for gold and diamond members only. I did not know at the time when I signed up there were different levels of membership, if it had changed and an email was sent out, I may have missed it since I do not pay attention to all of my emails, but it was still a little disappointing. They had brought their dog with them and there is a $75 non refundable fee. I understand just in case, but I feel if there isn't any damage to the room, you should be able to get it back. Lastly the room we got this time was not the greatest, one of the outlets I couldn't even plug my phone into. The top outlet worked but the bottom felt like I was hitting the wall when I was trying to plug it in. The outlets above the night stand between the beds were horrible. I have to use a CPAP machine and it wasn't working right when I plugged it in. I couldn't plug it into a other one because it can't be on the floor and I didn't want to have my friend or her daughter trip over it if they had to use the bathroom during the night. When she went to use the other outlet to charge her phone, she had to wiggle the charger to get a decent connection. Other then that, we had a nice stay, breakfast was wonderful with again plenty to choose from. It is nice to see that it wasn't the same items from my last stay, they do make sure there is a different variety everyday.

My sister and I booked a handicap accessible room. The room was spacious and very clean. There were a few odd requests I needed for my sister (who is an amputee in a wheelchair). All the staff was so helpful and super respectful. They really cared that we were comfortable and they went above and beyond. Anyone coming to the area and needing a hotel should stay here. It was the best hotel we have ever stayed at!

We reserved a room block for our wedding and everything was perfect. The hotel was very nice with spacious, clean rooms. The lobby was a great place for people to hang out and our niece and nephews really enjoyed the pool. The service we received was awesome, especially Diane! Would definitely recommend over and over again!

Absolutely beautiful hotel to stay at!! The breakfast is delicious and clean clean!! The service is absolutely amazing!! Everyone is absolutely friendly!! I have never had an issue with my room being clean and room service is amazing if you need anything they jump to it as soon as they can!! Their pool and fitness is cleaned regularly and very kid friendly!! Definitely coming back!! My kids absolutely love it and love coming!! The manager is absolutely amazing and extremely friendly and helpful!!
