Hole In the Wall Family Dining

This place gives all the feels of a local diner. Everyone on staff was kind and welcoming. We ordered the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, biscuits and gravy and the taco omelette. The mash is the BEST I’ve had in a lonnnggg time. The biscuits and gravy had a salty but sweet taste. They tasted like grandma just made them in the kitchen. Finally the taco omelette was fire!!! Don’t underestimate this place! Worth the mini detour off the highway!!!

This is the greatest place to have breakfast in Miles City. The food is awesome and they make it to order. This was the 1st time we came and we love the place, so down home and love the people. Two days later on our trip back we decided to come back and it was the same, great food and awesome people. We will be coming back here from now on..The place is so clean too..So don't get rid of your cook, it is not easy finding a good place to eat you know..

We had two adults and 6 kids order breakfast and they had it all done and out to our table in less than 20 minutes. That's pretty impressive timing! And the food was great, exactly what we were looking for! Exceptionally nice service. Really cool rustic/vintage place. Overall great experience 🙂

Nice spot. When I was there, they had a seniors lunch thing going which apparently they do every Tuesday and Thursday. So there were a lot of senior folks there. They were sweet and some of them chatted with me as well. As I was dining by myself, I appreciated their kindness.
The food was good. I had the hot cakes (pancakes) and French toast. Soft and yummy. Bacon was good too. Good quality food, I’m eating leftovers now for a second breakfast :)

We’ve been to many dining spots on our drive back and forth across the country and this was hands down the best experience. Our waitress was incredibly kind, prompt and attentive. The food came quickly, was such high quality and the portions were great. Super unique decor and vibe.

The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was AMAZING! Friendly staff as well. Remember to bring cash as they currently don't except credit cards as payment.

Obviously good cuz all the old-timers were there. Outdated but rustic & takes you back in time. I loved that I could order breakfast at 1pm. My 15 year old son has eaten alot of pancakes in his short life & said that was the best pancake he's ever had.

The staff are always friendly and prompt. We went in Memorial Day and it was pretty busy but Gloria the owner say us right away. Our server was excellent. Tammy always knows what we like. Our meal was great environment and service superb 😁👍

Ate here twice during our time in Miles City. Great food, great servers. Old timey atomosphere took me back to my childhood visits to steak houses growing up in the Midwest. Great value on the food when you are feeding two teenage boys!

Weve always passed Miles City and never knew this place existed. Definitely a gem and worth the stop for the food and service. Great experience for my family with 3 kids. Will stopping by everytime we go to Billings now.

This was recommended to us by a local and it was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were great! Excellent place for breakfast and toddler friendly which was a plus! Wonderful experience!!

Must visit. It's been operating since the 1800's. Open for 6am till noon.

If you would like a good meal and are tired of food while travelling this little gem is for you. One of the best steaks I’ve had. Really cool historic building and great local vibe.

This is the place you're thinking of when you think "small-town diner." Locals, visitors, pancakes the size of a dinner plate, friendly servers, good coffee. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town and hungry.

My sister and I travel and located this Fabulous Restaurant for Breakfast!!! It was the Best...Greatest...and mouth watering food ever!!! You Must go and Enjoy!! Just as we did!!! Thank you for our childhood memories ❤

Great service, great food! Cool old building. Just a nice, relaxed, family atmosphere. We will definitely recommend this place and will be back!!

The hole-in-the-wall is one of the best places to eat in Miles City as far as I'm concerned I have eaten they're quite a few times and the people that work there are very pleasant and kind I will definitely go back
