PJ's

My Amtrak train was about 4 hours late and I was pretty much stuck there in Havre MT. I figured I better get food before. So this place was right across the street, I decided just to go get something small. I sat myself, it wasn't too busy when I went in, but started getting lots of people in. Seemed like everyone knew everyone, waitress was kind and was attentive to me. I just ordered a grilled cheese, tasted like it was HOME made, sometimes you can tell that some places try to hard to make it gourmet, but not here, it was like my mom made it. I got a sandwich, side and a drink for less than $12. I don't think I'll ever make it that north again, but if you are just passing by and need to eat... I recommend PJ'S. 👌

Wonderful little spot directly across from Amtrak station. I called ahead to order soup to go, ham and potato. Came with a roll, butter, crackers, spoon and napkins. All ready to go for me as I ran across to grab it. Very good soup. Thank you!

I visited PJ's this evening only for a moment, as I am aboard the Amtrak on my way to Portland.

The gentleman working this evening on the 12th of October was extremely kind! I asked if there was anything I could grab in time to not miss the train boarding, and he offered a cup of soup this evening as anything else would make me late.

He dropped what he was doing and ran off to grab a cup and got me on my way!

The best food in town! Friendly service always. The soup is so amazing! Clam chowder is our favorite ever!!

Dropped in for lunch. Great service. Ordered 3, two piece chicken strips and fries. Just the right size for kids and older adults. I had a chicken fried steak with hash browns, corn and a roll. It was delicious and a good serving. Recommended for someone to try. Been decades since I had that. Will certainly order it again next time through.

Our group of 8 people loved the food and friendly staff. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat there again if we're in the area.

I ordered a sandwich here while my train was stopped, but had to leave before getting my food. Right as I'm sitting down, the conductor announces that a bartender ran to the train and delivered a sandwich right as doors were closing. Needless to say, I was delighted.
They're the closest restaurant to the Havre station, and absolutely deserve to be.

Hometown dining. Food is good and they have a lot to choose from on the menu. The waitstaff was great and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Thanks PJ’s!

Taco burger was awesome and would definitely recommend. Wait staff was quick and friendly. Food came almost immediately after we ordered it. Clean bathrooms and good coffee too. What more could you ask? After hours of driving across the state in the nothing it was wonderful to have some hot food. We will return!

I always enjoy eating here, their food is absolutely Delicious and big portions. I highly recommend dining here. The Chicken Fried Steak is Legendary! get the Brown Gravy put on it!

Poor service. Waitress kept coming out empty handed while we waited on waters/soda. Grilled ham and cheese came without ham then came out with wrong soup. Hard to get refills and I kinda felt like we were in the way having come in. Took forever to get our check also. Definitely shouldn’t have left as nice of a tip but waitress stood there watching.

Family favorite for sure! Our waitress was amazing and very interactive with our kiddos. Food is always fast and hot! Fantastic little restaurant to eat at

This is a great place to eat in Havre!! The food was very good and cooked exactly as we ordered, one of THE best prime ribs we ever ate! Our waitress Kobi was so awesome and attentive to serving our needs! All the waitresses were so friendly and the entire atmosphere was warm and inviting! Highly recommend this place!

Fabulous lunch. Three of us ate, I had chicken fried steak and such a good helping couldn’t finish it , but I sure wanted to! All of us loved our plates. Friendly staff, clean and quite a happy spot. Recommended!

What a great little place to eat! It's not much to look at, from the outside, but don't let appearances fool you. My husband said the patty melt was the best one he's ever had; the bread was not flimsy, the onions were tender and flavorful, the beef patty was cooked beautifully. His beef barley soup was very good, as was my tomato soup. My chicken strips were tender and moist. Our server, Amanda, was alert and attentive, as well as very helpful in guiding our lunch choices. PJ's was a great lunch choice for us! Keep up the good work, guys!
