Sleeping Giant Lanes

Visiting from out of state, stopped by at noon on a Sunday, very basic and no frills bowling alley with a bar and deli. Smaller and more compact than many other bowling alleys but the facility is clean, organized and not cluttered. One lane of bowling for one hour including shoe rental was $33.00. Bowled 7 games so came out to $4.71 a game.

Facility has clean restrooms with baby changing tables in both, water fountain with plastic cups by the bar, non cluttered bowling pit area. Employees were friendly and appeared well staffed. Alley balls were in very good condition unlike 99% of the other bowling alleys I've been to across America. And they are easy to differentiate on weight based on the color stripe painted on each one.

Patrons here were well behaved including the kids and nobody had any drama and all were having fun. Also never had to reset the lanes and once a ball got stuck until I bowled the second frame to send it on its way out. The pins do slide a LOT to the side, more than any other bowling alley I've ever been to.

Laid back bowling gem. The friendly staff, relaxed vibe, and well kept lanes make it the perfect spot for easygoing fun. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or a newbie, it's the go to place for an enjoyable bowling experience.

This place has really come around in the last few years. Upgrades and cleanliness have definitely been a priority, and it shows. Great atmosphere and fun staff. If you're looking for a fun night, sign up for vegas bowling on Saturday's. Make sure you call a couple days in advance to get on the list as spots do fill up quick!

My balls were handled better here than ever before. Staff here know what they bragging bout. Don't even need oil like at victory in Butte.

Always a fun time. The older generation needs to understand that kids come here too tho. We had some rude comments come from the lady's on the lane next to us.

New owners have really cleaned the place up, new equipment, good bar selection, lots of food options. Place is always full during league nights. Been hanging out just having a drink or 2 while my friends bowl league. Fast Forward...all new house balls for general bowling and new scoring software. They keep investing in the place!

The staff here is always so friendly. When leagues are going, it's hard to find a good time to go play some open bowling, but it's nice to have something to do especially when it gets cold. Well kept and always a good time for a night out with friends.

I LOVE this place. Nothing is more enjoyable than coming to THE ONE AND OOOOONLYYY SLEEPING GIANT, chatting up the staff(they really know how to handle balls and help you prepare), putting my fingers deep into some holes, and getting that feeling of extreme satisfaction as as I release letting some big and heavy balls drop down a nice smooth and waxed lane and slide into a good old greasy gutter. HELL YES.

I'm a little bias being employed at Sleeping Giant Lanes. But its a great place to bring your family and friends. We have a lounge with some casino machines snack bar, party room and of coarse 🎳 bowling! We have a great friendly fun staff and the owner's are by far my favorite to work for.

New machines were great. Lanes were in good condition. Staff was great. Food was pretty good too.

We had our grandkids with us and I was impressed by the young person managing the counter - he was very attentive and helpful. Great place to go for fun in Helena.

Been going here since I was a kid and have always had a blast, the food is great and the staff is amazing.

This place is always fun l. They are cheap, and the staff is very kind. They also sell pizzas there, which are really tasty. Going again soon.

Bowling with the kids is fun, but Vegas bowling on Saturday for a nice date night get away is just what my husband and I need. Thanks guys for providing a night of fun for the kids at heart!

Plenty of open lanes on a Friday night, clean and organized, and reasonable prices!

Fun spot for a date! On a Thursday evening, it's not too crowded, but not empty either. Very chill

Went to lunch with our company and bowled while eating nachos and pizza. Definitely a fun retreat.
