Spud's Grub Hut

Spuds Grub Hub is not only a great name, it was an excellent place to eat! I walked in to a wonderful greeting from all of the staff and their menu has a crazy variety of items. I decided to build my own spud with beef, bacon, chicken and cheese. It truly hit the spot, it was like a potato sandwich! I recommend a stop if you are traveling through Havre.

Had a great lunch at Spud’s as we drive through Havre. We were road tripping back home to Minnesota from glacier national park. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they checked in on us about three times to make sure the food tasted alright.

All the food was made fresh, and served piping hot. Our food was probably ready within 5 minutes of ordering, so it was quick! Their tots were awesome and their tot sos was super good, somewhat sweet with some heat that builds on the back end!

Best of all, their prices were extremely reasonable. Most sammies were in the 6-8$ range, and a small pop was $.75 I can’t think of a single other restaurant that you can get a pop for under $1!! Fresh beer on tap for $4 isn’t bad either. I think we would have spent about the same amount at McDonald’s for our family of four, and this was SO much better than any fast food you’ll find in Havre or elsewhere.

Their manager or owner was super nice, and while we were there he gave a nice gift to one of his employees , which was cool to see. He just seemed like a genuinely nice dude and the staff seemed happy to be there.

Overall I’d absolutely recommend Spud’s, it’s not a glamorous place, no frills, but don’t let that fool you, the food is fresh, locally sourced, and delicious!

The food is spectacular and fresh. Spud is the man! His fries are beast, the best in a thousands mile radius! Plus he has beer on tap, great combination of fresh cooked deliciousness and local brew!

Yum and YUM! Wow! What a little treasure. And they know the food is good, so it is easy to offer good service. Happy people work here! It is not "fast food" so it isn't 'turn on a dime' fast, but it is very quick and VERY delicious!

By far one of the very best places to eat in Havre. Everything I have ever tried is so full of flavor and I am never disappointed. Everyone working there have been so professional and polite!!! Highly recommended..

Every time I go in there I try something different on the menu mainly spackle I feel bad if I dont have money for a big tip never had one bad experience and love talking to the staff very cool and friendly last time I whent was to day and it was the best experience I've had going there this far looking forward to next time
