Lucky Pig Pub & Grill

Hands down, the best meal I've ever had. Their spinach artichoke dip with homemade pita pieces ruined me for anyone else's. It was THAT good. For my main course I had the pork ribeye. Didn't even know that was a cut of pork. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Paired that with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. Yummo! Great service, reasonable pricing, clean and friendly place!

This was my first time at the Lucky Pig, and I'm definitely glad I went! The food was very good and filling, and the service was great, too! My only complaint is that the onions were a bit hard, they were probably cut thicker than I am used to. I recommend the Builddog Burger, fries, and cheese nuggets! I definitely plan on returning!

When the perfect combination comes together, you can't help yourself. Pair fresh ingredients locally sourced, with great recipes, add in attention to the food, and give a generous helping of it, and great friendly service; and this is where you will find it. The lunch special was amazing, centered on pork. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and paired with seasoned sweet potato fries. My plate was a hard choice between the Pulled Porky Pig, and the Bay of Pigs (thinly sliced, ham pulled pork). The Pulled Porky Pig won out. The bun was the base to hold all of the meaty goodness. The pork was the star of the show in both cases; the condiments were on point; and the sauce was a perfect Memphis sweet BBQ sauce. If you want an experience, here it is.

This restaurant/bar has a great, family friendly atmosphere. Our food was out in a timely manner and was delicious. They wait staff were friendly and attentive despite how busy it was when we went. 10/10, would go again.

Great food and service.
Came back for a 2nd visit while driving through. Note, from Spencer to DSM this is not the best route, but it is worth stopping. We had great service and the kitchen made up some fantastic dinner. Prime Rib, Fish and Chips, Chicken Alfredo, and kids chicken fingers. And Key Lime Pie to go!

From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly and provided excellent service. There was a slight delay with our food due to a kitchen issue, but it was quickly resolved and we were kept updated. The tenderloin was absolutely fantastic and the fries and onion rings were drool worthy. The prices were very reasonable and the menu was extensive! I am already looking forward to my next visit!

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and we had a great experience. Our server was very attentive and our drinks and food were delicious. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are a must - probably my favorite and their burgers are fabulous too. Butterfinger pie is also a must if you have room. It’s a cozy and small place, nothing too fancy but that’s what we wanted. We’ll be back!

Every time I make it home to Iowa I have to try a tenderloin sandwich somewhere new. This trip it was the tenderloin sliders at Lucky Pig and they did not disappoint. Great flavor and still more meat than bun even with sliders. 100% will stop here again. The onion rings had a ton of flavor too!

OMG this place is great!! I went here with my sister and our 2 toddler boys and my friend met us. ALL of the food we got was DELICIOUS and boy did we order a bunch!! I'm listing what we got below this (and I've added pictures of the menu :)

**Appetizers**
- Jalapeno poppers - omg SO SO good - it was a whole fresh jalapeno filled with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and fried (spicy and delicious!!)

- Cheese nuggets - you can't go wrong with these!! Yummy!

- Spinach Artichoke dip - creamy and yummy! With pita chips!

**Kids meals**
-Mac 'n cheese with applesauce (it was I think penne noodles with cheese sauce and I think also melted cheese - yummy!)

-Cheeseburger with fries (classic, can't go wrong)

**Main dishes**
-I got the Prime Rib (pic below) with a loaded baked potato (sour cream, butter, cheese, bacon) with a side salad with french -- Honestly after the other food I was too full to eat hardly any of it but when I brought it home my husband said "even though I microwaved it, it was INCREDIBLE" so definitely A+!! Also what I DID eat, was DELICIOUS!

-My sister got a salad with ranch dressing, she said it was really good!! Perfect for the hot weather :)

- My friend got the Pulled Porky Pig -- it looked so yummy when it came out (open faced) to the table -- she had nothing but good things to say about it.

The bartender from the back came up and got our drink orders as our waitress was a little busy at the time and she was great, super friendly and personable!! Our waitress was also nice, constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything!

One of the owners also stopped by to check to see how everything was, we had to take a few to-go boxes but we had to RAVE about how delicious everything was!!

I will definitely be back!!!! New favorite spot to meet my friends "halfway" for dinner!!

We started with the poppers wrapped in bacon. They were very good, nice amount of heat and the thick bacon was a great addition. We also got the breaded tenderloin and Cuban sandwich. Again lots of good flavor. Food came out quick and hot. We ended the meal splitting a piece of caramel apple pie! Very happy we decided to stop and try it out.

A small town, local joint that never let's ya down! Lisa makes killer margaritas! Food is good. Don't forget to save room for the homemade pies!!!!

Great small town restaurant with awesome customer service. The best tenderloin around, but the pork rib eye is my go to.

Our pork ribeye and jalapeno popper burger were both Delicious.

It's a cute little town place, nothing fancy but my grilled chicken salad was perfect and my son's jalapeño burger was better than the one he got at Hickory Park over in Ames.
