We rented a cozy cabin room. Decor was updated and homey. It is a peaceful place and I would love to bring my adult children and rent a large house or cabin some day. The service and hospitality was excellent!

Such a beautiful lodge. We stayed in the Sapphire Cabin, and it was lovely. The comfiest bed ever. Our friends hosted a dinner for us, and the food was excellent. The servers were friendly and attentive. We would recommend the rattlesnake sausage for sure! And the bread pudding which was incredible, but honestly everything was fantastic.

Cannot wait to go back!

Would absolutely recommend having a large event here the views are spectacular.

We stayed in Tamarack #7 for three nights just before Labor Day. Bonnie and the entire staff were warm and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, with large grassy areas and a beautiful lake. Tamarack Cabin was cozy and comfortable with the large deck and chairs to watch the deer and sunset. The stay was enjoyable and we can't wait to come back again!

I’m responding to the recent negative reviews of the Double Arrow. They are extremely unfair! The crew is fantastic, and the GM, Bonnie, has been putting in 12-14 hour days all summer. The Double Arrow restaurant is a Fine Dining experience, and by far the nicest and best restaurant in the area. I have been coming here for 15 years, and yes, sometimes I have been turned away…if I didn’t have reservations, if they are prepping for a large event, or if they’re so busy that they can only accommodate their Lodge guests at the time. When these issues are the reason, Bonnie has been the ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONAL in her explanation of these! I have also been there when people have been turned away during their busiest times, because they DID NOT have reservations, or because they were just too busy to accommodate more than just their lodge guests. Bonnie and their crew have been nothing but absolutely professional when trying to explain this. The crew are working double and triple time to make the experience here the best, Montana experience they can for you!
If you don’t have reservations, especially during the busiest time of the year, and especially since the Double Arrow is by far the nicest place to eat and drink in the area, accept what they tell you and try next time! Your negative reviews reflect your absolute ignorance as to what restaurants in general are going thru right now! Everyone wants to go out, and it is extremely difficult to staff per needs right now. If you want a better experience, plan ahead, make reservations, and don’t blame the messenger when you’re told they’re fully booked!
And when you show up in tank tops and flip flops to a fine dining restaurant, which I have witnessed recently, maybe consider the Filling Station down the road for a true, Tavern Experience…they are great! This is in response to the Karen’s that are writing the negative reviews…

Attended a wedding here and it was great from start to finish. When calling to make a reservation earlier this year, Bonnie was very helpful by answering my questions about the differences between the cabins. We stayed for 2 nights in the Heritage Cabin - it was perfect! The food was great and the views are absolutely stunning. Would definitely stop through again if we are ever in the area.

Our wedding at the Double Arrow was an absolute dream. Bonnie and her team provide spectacular service, the food was beyond expectation (our friends and family raved!), and the setting/ accommodations had us all smiling and relaxed all weekend. They are well connected with all of the popular local vendors and make planning and the day of super smooth. Highly recommend!

We've always enjoyed eating at the Lodge since we've been in the area (17 years)....their house salad with the huckleberry vinaigrette is AMAZING!. But not until last month did we stay at the Lodges. It was a beautiful room (I believe it was called the Swan cabin). Beds were great, bathroom with the clawfoot tub was relaxing...it was a cozy and relaxing weekend! Can't wait for our next stay!

Last minute look for a place to stay and lucked out. We stayed in a quaint, small cabin (highly recommend the Aspen cabin for couples only). Surrounding areas were beautiful. Catch and release pond available for fishing. Golf course next door (don't know if public or private). We had lunch and dinner at the Lodge. Food was excellent; high caliber chef in my mind. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Definitely will return in the future.

We had our wedding at the Double Arrow Lodge this summer and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Bonnie was very patient with us and listened to everything we had to say. The food was phenomenal as always and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. Bonnie is a true rockstar and helps the bride and groom feel at ease with planning. One thing I do regret not doing is listening to more of Bonnie's suggestions, she is a well seasoned wedding vendor and knows what works best!

Very nice cabins here. My wife and I came up for our anniversary and it's been wonderful! The employees are very warm and welcoming! The restaurant is nice with good food!

Vacation was much enjoyed.

Edit:
Came back for a second year and hoping to make it back on our third!

This was a quaint little lodge. Big enough to offer amenities like a hot tub, spacious lodging area (upstairs and downstairs, two separate rooms), golf course, tennis courts, and a restaurant. My family had a wonderful time exploring the area nearby (Seeley Lake, waterfalls, gorgeous mountains trails), and were always so glad to have a nice warm home base to come back to. The beds were comfortable, and we had no issues whatsoever with hot water, heating/air conditioning, kitchen and bathroom amenities... everything just worked! What a lovely place--would definitely stay again.

Excellent food, casual but Montana elegant atmosphere. Never had a bad meal here, from the homemade Huckleberry house salad dressing, the ribeye, fish or duck, to the chocolate mouse cake or cheesecake, it's all amazing.

The service isn't finest dining (it's a small town to draw from), but the price isn't either for such a nice restaurant. Full, hearty meals for 2, apps, desert and a nice bottle of wine for under $200 is a solid value.

And don't forget the setting. Beautiful views of the mountains, the valley, wild deer out the window and the beautiful log lodge. Always solid stop for a nice dinner every time we pass through town.

Oh, and killer pizza Tuesday - Thursday!!

Love hitting up the Lodge for dinner once a year or so when we're up in the Seeley area. Their menu always has a mildly wild vibe to it that gives more exploratory guests something to try but won't completely throw off your less ambitious eater. Service is normal and they have good booze. Prices are fine.

The dining experience is quite and upscale with a staff that's eager to please and very knowledgeable. The restaurant reminds me of an old ranch house overlooking a ranch. They have a great golf course. It's no five star resort but if you're looking to relax everything here is comfortable.

First, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a Montana ranch lodge. It was gorgeous and wooden all around. Second, they had a great bartender who made some awesome drinks for us. Lastly, the food over dinner was amazing. Most of our table had the rib eye and they loved it. I had the special which was duck and it was spot on. I would definitely recommend going here for a great, elevated night out.
