Beautiful furniture. The pieces look like they will last generations. Friendly staff welcomed my request to take photos, open drawers to examine the construction and crawl around on the floor to see how the pieces were constructed. The modern spins on the grandfather clock were some of my favorites.

We had been through a few years ago and this was a must return shop for us when we came back. Each piece is built by a single craftsman who signs it when complete. You can watch the woodworking shop in action. Stunning furniture of beautiful wood. These are legacy pieces.

Some of the most beautiful and well crafted furniture you will find anywhere. Beautiful woods and traditional as well as contemporary designs. Craftsmen can be observed off the showroom building what you are seeing on display. Prices are comencetate with the quality and craftsmanship you get.

Going here brings me the best vibes. They have amazing furniture and clocks displayed around the shop. I've "tested" out a couple of the rocking chairs and I just want to take one home with me. My favorite part of coming here is the clock room with all the grandfather clocks and etc. When they all chime, the room slightly shakes and it soothes my soul, melting the stresses away. I always enjoy hearing the chimes at the time they go off. You may be lucky to come across a whole chorus.

An amazing place to visit. The craftsmanship is second to none, helpful people, and a huge variety to items to choose from. If you hit the right time you can see the folks working in the wood shop. I can tell you after watching them, they have a lot more patience than I'll ever have!
Some folks mention the prices, and they can be a bit more than you might be accustomed to seeing; but remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for". When you're shopping around, take a really close look at the items and I think you'll see why they're worth more!!

Very high quality products. You can watch the workers making furniture. We have purchased many items here, and have a wish list for more, and have always been very happy. Even if you don't want to buy anything, it is a neat store to browse through.

The store is a good place to stop. Obviously since most of the pieces are locally made and with high quality wood, most items are very expensive. It was nice to browse, though, and some of the smaller items were inexpensive (like cooking utensils). The best part was the clock room upstairs--really interesting selection of grandfather and wall clocks.

We took a complimentary tour of the workshop (only offered on weekends) with a guide who was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the furniture-making process. He was very generous with his time; the tour lasted one hour and fifteen minutes, and was very worthwhile. The craftsmanship here is incredible!

The natural cherry dining room table and chairs I ordered arrived today. They are absolutely gorgeous! I could not be more thrilled with the workmanship, quality, and style. Before finding Amana Furniture, I had looked for a long time for a dining room set that would fit into my transitional style home, but this set from Amana furniture is perfect. I strongly recommend Amana Furniture Store to everyone!

Wonderful offerings and friendly and helpful staff.

I have many relatives out of town or out of state who come for a visit just to be able to go to the Amanas. The furniture factory is the ultimate destination. Many pieces of Amana furniture are now residing with my family and friends. The employees are so friendly and helpful but not overpowering. It is a joyful place to visit!

They make some fantastic furniture here, but it is getting insanely expensive anymore. They also have an outstanding selection of really nice clocks of all types from desk clocks to big grandfather models, but again they are putting premium prices on them. They also sell and service Schneider cuckoo clocks.

Amana Furniture Shop is a top shelf outfit who cares about the custom work they do and how it goes out to the customer. Closed for six weeks during the public health emergency, they nevertheless worked double time upon reopening to meet promised specifications and exceeded expectations in quality of workmanship. Highly recommended.

Beautiful furniture. Nice staff. Little to high prices for me but handcrafted in Iowa and beautiful, solid furniture. If I had the money I would buy half the store! Love love love!

if you live in Iowa and you need to purchase a gift for a friend you should always buy something from the Amana Colonies including their woodworking Factory they have nothing but the most beautiful Furniture in the whole world. Or you should buy something for yourself! Including some of the world's most beautiful grandfather clocks
