Loved the burgers at JL. Also service was great allowing us to try the different beers and cidars to find one we liked. Really appreciated it that my daughter and i shared a burger and it was cut in half on seperate plates. Would recommend.

I have been coming to this place over 7 years now and I just still love it, the crews are ALWAYS so nice I cannot believe it. The food is of course good and the beer selection is insanely variety. 10/10 recommend

The service was outstanding. There was a mistake with our order and I think nearly everyone from the server, to other servers, to the shift manager checked in with us to make sure the rest of our meal went off without a hitch. We didn't even notice anything was wrong until they brought it up. Super attentive staff!

The food was delicious. The fries have fantastic flavor, and I enjoyed the chicken parm burger. (Fries stole the show, though.)

Have always loved JL beers. They were the first on the craft beer scene in North Dakota and have continued to bring great beers from around the country into their restaurants. The burgers and fresh cut chips are exactly what you want in a classic hamburger stand smash burger. Great buns and meat topped with all sorts of different topping options. I always make it a point to swing by JL beers whenever I’m in Fargo. Would recommend you check it out if you’ve never been.

Here’s what you need to know about JL Beers:

1.) Free samples of beer on tap! (and they have a lotttt of options)
a) The guava rodeo beer is super nice for anyone who likes a sweeter & lighter option
2.) The MOST amazing HANDMADE potato chips with the dusting of your choice— it’s not even an option not to get these.
a) They are know for their burgers; the breakfast burger is especially droolingly good with a cooked egg on top.
3.) If you don’t go here when given the chance you are selfishly robbing your hardworking stomach of well deserved happiness.
a) Your stomach NEEDS this— YOU need this! Come to this relaxed 21+ (except Moorhead is 18+) pub atmosphere and go to town with burgers & brews. Just don’t forget those dang potato chips.

Always a great experience here. Had to stop one last time before moving to Phoenix. Candace was a great server, kind and attentive. Got my go-to’s- The Classic add American cheese and Loaded Chips with an extra side of Beer Cheese. Will miss this place immensely!!!

Awesome food, perfectly made. The fresh-cut chips are the best. Great service too!

These are the best burgers I have ever had in my life it is well worth the trip no matter how far you are driving to get there if you have not tried it yet you have to go it is awesome

Really good burgers! I got Not Just A Nutter Butter and I'm glad I tried it! The chips that come with are freshly cut and delicious with whatever seasoning you want! Look forward to going here again!

JL Beers is the best sports bar we've visited in Fargo! We arrived with a warm welcome, a cold "snow beer", and juicy burger. We also witnessed the Vikings Greatest Comeback in NFL history. We will return.

Only negative is I wish there was a LOCATION IN FLORIDA! LOL All jokes aside I swear I wish I could give 10 stars!!! This place is amazing the food is so fresh and good! Honestly how can putting peanut butter and spicy jelly on a burger taste so good? Come here and find out! You will not regret it! Chef Brian and server Heather were awesome too very friendly and welcoming. Did I mention how good the food is?

Update 2022 APRIL 25TH AND THIS PLACE IS STILL KICKING HARD!!! I love the consistency and I was excited to come back and try my favorite and something new! These guys are the best hands down Adam was a great server friendly nd welcoming and Matt is. Beast with the burgers! Pleeeeease I'm begging you let's go to Florida!!!

I was visiting friends in Fargo & heard good things about JL Beers, so decided to go. I'll most definitely be back next time I'm in Fargo. Excellent food & fast/friendly service!

This place has the burgers and beer restaurant figured out. It's a small place that knows exactly what it's kitchen can handle. Food is fresh and fries are cut to order. Always lots of beers to choose from and excellent service. It's a must visit!

It never fails! We just flew in from AZ and it was the first place we came back to!

Very welcoming with knowledgeable staff. They know beer and burgers! One of the best burgers I have ever had. This is a must visit, the atmosphere is great you can actually visit with your friends. Loads of outstanding lager await you. They even have a tasty cider. If you drive a semi across this Great Nation and park at the Fargo Loves, take a short 9min walk over here and enjoy this place!!!!

These Guys!!!! You make Jimmy John's look slow. Awesome Burgers, good selection of Brews and Fresh cut fries. Crazy looking building but worth the stop. I swear my food was done before I ordered it. :)

I had the Totally Slawsome burger with chips flavored with cheddar jalapeno, awesome I must say. The staff was great, beer was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely will grace their doors in the near future.
