I actually have a decent review. I got myself into this mess, went in on both before my court date and got the payment schedule set up. I had a major issue last month and said I couldn't pay, and they were decent with when I called to check on things today (same person both times). Pleasantly surprised after reading so many bad reviews

My rep was helpful and friendly. They always work with me. They are a debt collector and they are collecting a debt I truly owe, so I can't be mad about that.

I understand that RRCA is a debt collector but the representative Theresa should have some courtesy towards clients. I was very displeased with the way I was spoke too after having a lot of issues dealing with the death of a loved one. She said well you have owed money for over a year and we are collecting on that. At least have some common decency.

Wish I could give negative stars. Sent to these guys for a $300 bill from a hospital I don’t go to. Said too bad, bill is in your name and you didn’t pay, your debt (again, not a doctor or hospital II use, but okay sure). Then they did not call or send a letter notifying me in any way that I owe them, then inflated the charge to $800 when they showed up on my doorstep to serve me. The charge for “trying to reach me” but no one reached out with anything and they insist I pay $50 every single week as a single income family of 5 they are literally starving children for profits. Disgusting.

After sending me lawsuit paperwork, since I didn't get a notification about the debt beforehand, I called right away to set up a payment arrangement and they are still forcing me to go to court about it

I wish I could give this company negative stars. Not only did they add an additional $400 in "legal fees" to my account, but they completely failed to notify me of these additional charges and LIED about sending someone to my door, serving me with court date papers. They stated to have called me 8 times, have stated that they have sent me letter after letter regarding my account, when I have received no communication from them in over 5 months. The only time I received a letter was AFTER they called me, back in November of 2022, and I specifically asked them to send me a letter with the exact amount I owed. I am completely appalled by this "company".

Edit to my post from awhile ago: I called them today to see how much I still owed since I never receive any bills. She said my medical bill has been paid off for months and now it's only the interest I'm paying on now. When I asked why I never receive any statements the lady on the phone said they do not send bills at any time and is the person's responsibility to know if they have a bill with them. And the only way to know if my bill was paid off is because my auto payments would stop. The only way I could get an itemized statement was to go up there.

This place is full of crooks!!! They charge a ridiculous 5-6% compound interest rate on your bill. And if they take you to court it's 9%!!!! I didn't even know I had a bill from them until I was served papers. And when I called they said they never received a change of address and that I needed to deal with it. The address I lived at I didn't live at for over a year before they served me papers. And I did my change of address right when I moved out. And if you have multiple bills make sure you ask them because they won't tell you at all. I can't believe they expect people to be able to pay off the bills they have with them when all these fees and things are added.

Worst company to deal with. Pay my bill constantly every month on time and it is never enough. Always want more and more and more. If you don't agree with their terms they take you back to court. Such rude people.

These people will LIE TO YOUR FACE and say the minimum amount you have to pay is $20 per week when it’s actually $20 per MONTH, legally. They are thieves. Taking money from people who are struggling and making them feel bad they can’t make bigger payments. They take advantage of people who don’t know the law and make them think they have to pay a ridiculously high payment each month. These people are rude and make unnecessary assumptions about you and your life and try to bully you into paying more than what you can afford. It’s disgusting. They have no compassion whatsoever and are EXTREMELY judgmental. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

WHAT A BUNCH OF GARBAGE. So I called and asked them to e-mail my payment receipts for my payments, they told me I had to come in person (don't have a vehicle and had to ask my roommate) the reason I was told no was because it was "unsecured". I come in person and no one asked for ANY form of identification except my name and I was wearing my mask. AND YET that was "secure" enough to give a potential stanger my information. I have never stepped foot in this office before and only delt with them over the phone, so they DO NOT now what I look like!

If I could give less than one star I would! My experience was awful. After sending money for a medical bill it was applied to the wrong account.Then I received court papers and had to pay for the court cost for their mistake. The people I spoke with on the phone to try and clear this up were rude, and seemed to take great glee in making me feel like a dirt bag!!! Horrible company I pray no one ever has to deal with them!!!!

Highly lacking in communication skills. I was contacted regarding my overdue bills and imminent court cases, and explained my situation to a woman who was very understanding and professional, and she agreed that she would reach out to my debtor in regards to settlement amounts and get back to me soon so I could pay up and settle the matter.

Later that day I was called back regarding the settlement details by another woman who was rude and highly abrasive over giving me the information I previously asked for. While sorting out what I was responsible for paying, she made jabs at me not paying my bills for X amount of time, to which I overlooked at first, but when she victimized herself after I voiced my displeasure at her condescending tone I quickly and specifically asked the remainder of my questions, only then did she tell me the ways I could make my settlement payments and not have it affect my credit, and I quickly ended my call soon after.

Deborah (an RRCA supervisor no less) could take a course in professionalism and provide information to people to help them instead of kicking them while they're down with backhanded comments, laughing at me over phone call when I asked questions, as if she gets excited to tell someone 'you have to pay X amount to us', and stressing them out (and herself apparently, by how her unbending attitude started and progressively got even worse) After all is said and done, it is not her debt, and it's barely her business about how I pay my debt or not, so talking down to people like they personally owe you the money is completely ridiculous. I get that they have to deal with people that tell them off daily, however I was not being that way, and it was completely unnecessary for her to talk to me the way that she did. Can't believe a business (regardless of what type) would keep someone so verbally malicious and toxic employed, even worse have her in a supervisor position potentially teaching all her poisonous traits to new employees etc. Nobody is that valuable to keep around.

The real managers of this business need to clean up a bit.

I spoke with Theresa about a joint debt and she was very rude. Without getting into too much detail, (her words are in quotes) I wasn't quite understanding how a "joint debt" was "not split" but its"yours AND his" not "yours OR his" and "you both have to pay the same debt but separately". Just typing that out about gave me a headache. But she was very disrespectful about it. There were even people nearby while I was on the phone and they were uncomfortable for me. Yikes. I'm not sure how someone so unprofessional works with people on a daily basis.

I would also give no stars what so ever. But unfortunately to leave a review I have to. My Representative is very Rude, and Unpleasant, Unprofessional. When I asked her how many accounts were paid she responded with "I'm not counting them, I'll send it to you and you can count them" and kinda laughed about it.. it was uncalled for an as shes called out she makes it sound like she's not rude. When CLEARLY from other reviews she is and I'm not the only one to think this

I wish there was an option to give this deceitful, heartless company 0 stars. They took me to court for a medical bill that was less than $100 that belonged to my young adult son, but because I'm the policy holder, I'm responsible. They ballooned the charges to over $600 and served me court papers which I found to be very comical. I paid them before going to court and the "attorney" was still trying to settle out of court for more money!! This bootleg company is a joke. The attorney Mellott and the "owner" Hubbard have no soul.

Not sure how these people go home feeling good about what they do. They sued me for an unpaid medical bill. I know it's only a couple thousand to you guys but to us it's what we need to survive. You people are truly evil. I have a 1 y/o son. Please stop hurting families.
