Tabernacle Baptist Church

I enjoy attending services at this church whenever I visit the area. That the pastor has studied and prepared for the sermon is quite evident. And yes, it is what may be considered these days “ an old fashioned Baptist church.”

The classical hymns are sung in unison with piano accompaniment. There is a time for prayer requests as well as perhaps a solo on the organ. A Sunday evening as well as Wednesday evening services are regular events.

The congregation is small, somewhat aging and very friendly.
