Hotel Pattee

5 stars I believe it was around 1998 99 when they just remodeled this place. I was on a trip with my grandfather for a 50 year class reunion. It was an amazing place to stay. Looking forward to bringing my children here this year. I watched men in black at the movie theater down the street. And bowled for $1.00 a round at the bowling down stairs

Amazing themed rooms. Great staff. For cyclists it's convenient to the High Trestle Trail.

Brian, Nicole, and Nick were super nice. Nick was super nice with helping us get around at night time. Another employee talked to us about the hotel dog and wished us a safe trip. Definitely recommend staying here! The rooms were a good size too and the bar area was nice!

We have a monthly breakfeat with retired railroad employees.
They serve a great buffet and the service is very good.

Have only dined in the restaurant. Love going here for lunch with friends. Wait staff is always excellent. Love the food, especially the desserts!

Ive stayed here a couple of times now on business. Very clean hotel, quiet. My only issue is theres no microwave/mini fridge, as somebody who packs food from home to save a little $$$. However, they do supply free ice bags a person can use to keep anything cold they had brought with.

Perfect weekend getaway! The rooms and the whole place was clean and quiet. All the luxury features like the fireplace. Food in the restaurant was great! We will be back to stay in other rooms soon!

Stayed here recently on a biking trip to Iowa. We wanted to ride the Raccoon River Valley trail and the High Trestle trail. Location was ideal. Perfect luxury hotel hidden in Perry, IA. the rooms were great and the service was outstanding. If we go back to this area, we would stay here again.

We had a great experience. The quilted room was neat & something my mom enjoyed. The recessed lighting was a nice touch. The room was huge. We ate both supper & breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Food was very good with nice portions. The pecan encrusted french toast for brunch was extremely good. The staff was kind & courteous. One of the wait staff had exceptional customer service. Even though he wasn't assigned to our table he checked in on us. And when mom who's in a wheelchair & 94 needed a bathroom break he walked us all the way down the hall. I was quite impressed with the accommodations & especially the staff and will stay again.

We had an excellent one night stay in Kings Daughter room at the request our our daughter for her birthday celebration. Before dinner we browsed local shops which are within a block of the hotel. Dinner in the cafe was fantastic and finished the night bowling in the basement. While looking around I was given the chance to check out the spa which is very nice, I see a spa booking during a future stay! Brunch was also delicious. I love the architecture of this hotel, I've been here for family reunions and now as single family getaway. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel for a quiet getaway. Clean rooms and comfy beds and kids love the jetted tubs!

This is a secret gem! The woodwork and artwork is beautiful, it has a quaint atmosphere with the fireplace, library and bar. It even has a 2 lane bowling alley. The town is like a hallmark movie lol. If your in the area this is a great place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed a few days at the Hotel Pattee for a wedding in town. We were able to see some of our friends' rooms also. Each room had a different theme, and it was obvious how much thought and care was put into making each room interesting and unique. Much of the decor was handcrafted. We really enjoyed our room's jet tub and spacious surroundings. The people at the service desk were very kind and accommodating. Perhaps it was out of consideration during Covid, but maid service was only provided upon request. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has an equally impressive restaurant with superb food and service.

Did not stay at the hotel but dined in. The hotel is really cool and historic. The food was delicious! You could tell the food was fresh and had the made from scratch taste. Our server was great, and who we assume was the owner stopped by the make sure our food and service was good. Would recommend! This is a hidden gem for sure.

We had a Board of Directors retreat at Hotel Pattee which included dinner and overnight stay. We were so impressed with the friendly and very attentive staff, the delicious dinner, and the accommodations. The entire event was a big success and we all were raving about our great experience at the hotel. We can’t wait to go back again and highly recommend this hotel for overnights, dinners or music events! A great experience all the way around!!

Hotel Pattee is an amazing hidden gem, in small town Perry. The staff are friendly and helpful, the themed rooms are fun & unique, the bowling alley is great, and the food is absolutely delicious! Such a beautiful hotel. If you ever get a chance to stay here, do it. You won't regret it! The DJ Pattee and Louis Armstrong suites are my personal favorites.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Hotel Pattee, followed by our reception at La Poste. Perfect. Everything was perfect and that is all thanks to Jenny who worked so hard to make sure we had no stress on our big day. Truly! There was not one moment during our ceremony or reception where I felt anything but happiness. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and Jenny was so helpful with that process; she was always willing to answer our questions and fulfill our requests. She is an absolute joy to work with. She worked incredibly hard to make sure we had the best day--and we did. I will always recommend Hotel Pattee not only for a unique and fun stay in Perry but also for any events. Thank you, Jenny! <3

A couple other notes:
- The staff at the hotel was friendly and great. The food is amazing! So good. I love eating at Cafe Pattee--who also catered our wedding. I loved my dinner (prime rib) and I've only heard good things from the guests about their meal choices, too.

- We wanted a December/Christmas themed wedding. Let me tell you, Hotel Pattee is gorgeous without the Christmas decor but when they put it up in the lobby, you just feel the Christmas spirit all around. So stunning.

--We stayed in the DJ Pattee suite which was big and perfect for me and my girls to get ready in (8 in the party plus 3 stylists...worked great!). And there was a big, beautiful bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Very nice. And there is history on the walls, which was a fun read.

-Lapso! The little host was a favorite of some of our wedding guests staying at the hotel. : )

The food was amazing. We went to a Maker's Mark event and it was a great time. Appetizers we're served with a wide variety of unique food was served. The came out to explained what whiskey was used and how it was paired for the meal. Great time and hope they host more events like this. Beautiful building.

Faultless! The service was excellent from check in onwards. Fallon and Taylor worked really hard in the bar & restaurant, and were both charming. Our (Chinese) room was very comfortable with a wonderful bathroom. We are so pleased we found this gem!
