Garner Inn & Suites

I had business dealings up in Forest City, so Garner wasn't my first choice. However Forest city hotels were fully booked for the time that I was staying in the area. Ás it turned out, Good fortune was on my side because the Garner Inn and suites was a much nicer hotel than what was available in Forest City. It's a brand new facility with wonderful management and staff. The rooms were immaculate and offered everything I wanted. Highly recommended.

Very well kept inside and out. The hotel attendant was nice and polite. The room is excellent for the price. Most hotels are charging at least $50 more than I paid here. I have traveled around for work at times and have had to deal with unsatisfactory situations. This hotel is not huge but, I can tell you that it is a very nice price, hotel and the room's are amazing!

I recently stayed there due to the loss of my brother. I was very impressed with everything!! They accommodated my entire family who traveled to get there. Like myself who traveled from South Carolina other members of my family traveled from various other states. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good! I highly recommend to anyone to stay there!

Very nice, clean, modern hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were nice and soft. I appreciate that they use refillable soap dispensers rather than the little plastic bottles and disposable soaps. The breakfast was very nice, and they have fresh baked cookies in the lobby. The price was very fair.

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to for this place. I travel for work and stay in hotels and motels very often mostly in small towns this has been by far the best place I’ve stayed the night. Very warm and welcoming place the rooms for exponentially clean and nice. The breakfast was great. I got into town later in the evening with no car no way to get around. The owner of the place came from his house in the evening just to give me a ride so I can go get some food. Truly a great guy and the staff are amazing. They also have a amazing massage chair in the lobby highly recommend spent an hour on that thing. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely be staying at this place again!

The owners are fantastic, the staff was amazing and Breakfast has a wide variety and delicious. Beds are super comfortable. This place is home away from home.

This hotel is far and above the nicest, cleanest, friendliest place I have ever stayed. Friendly check in staff member. We had 2 queen bed suite room. It was HUGE! The beds were beyond comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! The view out our windows was beautiful. I have stayed in 2 Marriots &1 Holiday Inn this summer and this hotel beats them hands down!! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Staff is wonderful. I was staying at this hotel while I did a job at a local company. The Enterprise car rental center did not have any cars available so I am without transportation. When the owner of this hotel heard about that, he offered to drive me wherever I needed to go. Even one of the hotel's employees saw me walking to find a place to eat, stopped and gave me a ride. It wasn't until after she gave me a ride that I found out that she was an employee of the hotel. I can't say enough about how friendly, hospitable, and accommodating everyone has been.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Facility is very clean. My king size bed and 5 pillows were so comfy. Fresh baked cookies in the lobby and the free breakfast was delicious. Great place to stay!

The staff and owners treat guests like royalty. They are down home people. The inn is clean and fancy. The owner is particular how the inn and rooms should look. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is a huge selection of delectable delights. You are awakened to the drooling smell of bacon. If you go away hungry, it is your own fault. Complimentary laundry facilities. This is a true mom and pop business. This is how businesses should be owned and ran. Warm cookies at night. Definitely worth the price, especially being off the main path/interstate. Hopefully the owners will never sell out to bigger chains. So grateful for the stay. Make plans to visit this inn. (Due to work, couldn’t visit the area, but didn’t care. Most motels you want to leave early and return late.)

My husband stopped here and he said its amazing. Very nice place. Staff is excellent. The owner took him to get dinner since he had a semi truck. Full breakfast. Highly recommend

This is hands down the best hotel in ages! Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean, new smell, bed was heavenly. The view was beautiful 😍. I would recommend this place everyday if I could. Coming back to Garner to celebrate the honoring of the 1990 football team at Garner-Hayfield High School (Name then) was so much fun. Garner has always been a great place to raise a family!! Hotel was their crowning pinnacle!

Awesome hotel in this little town!! The staff is amazing and so friendly, plus very helpful. The beds are so comfortable that I didn't want to get up...lol. There's a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The decor is very pretty. I loved my view of the pond out back with all the green grass. The property is very well maintained. My housekeeper was awesome. She always did an excellent job during my week stay. They also have a laundry facility to wash and dry. It's FREE...you just have to either bring your own detergent or buy from the vending which is only $1 for detergent and $1 for 2 fabric sheets. They also have a massage chair and freshly baked cookies in the evenings. A full breakfast every morning. The bacon is to die for. I do recommend reservations ahead of time. A must stay!!

Pleasantly surprised.

I was expecting a small town kind of meh hotel, but it was very clean and looked great. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Beds were soft and the pillows were fluffy. Normally the wall based AC units can be super extremes, but it kept it consistently one comfortable temp the whole night.

Breakfast was hot and good and there is a massage chair in the lobby!! Just be careful because it can get aggressive.

Parking lot entrance was easy to drive by and miss, but you can't miss the building.

A great hometown hotel. We have stayed here twice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, well laid out, and comfortable. Breakfast is good. The artwork on the walls are all photos of local sites and are a nice touch. Be sure to check out the massage chair in the lobby.

My husband and I stayed in their whirlpool suite sometime between March and April. The experience was heavenly. The room was huge as well as the whirlpool, there was a separate bathroom with shower/tub area, and there were even little mints on our pillows! Even little details, like fancy folded towels, made this small-town hotel seem like a 5-star resort. We got there later in the evening, but the lady handling check-in was very kind and professional. I normally don't sleep very well in hotels, but I slept very well that night. I have no idea what type of mattress they have, but I need one! It was the most comfortable mattress ever, and the bedding was also amazing. I told my husband we need to take a trip down there at LEAST once a year, because it was such a great experience.

Very nice spacious room that was truly Handicap friendly, ( not all places are). A nice hot breakfast with lots of variety and plenty of seating for a family gathering if needed. A quality room at a fair price. We will be back.

This hotel has the major chain comfort with the small town care. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Staff in kind and helpful. A free breakfast in the morning that mirrors any Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. With rooms starting out in the $80 range you are definitely getting the bang for your buck at this Garner hotel.
