Windmill Cafe

One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen!! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Never had to ask for a refill because they were right there filing it up. Buffet was nice with a good selection. We were there around 9am on a Sunday and half of the buffet was breakfast items and the other half lunch items. Good selection of eggs. Enjoyed everything about this place.

Went during Tulip Time, so they had a limited menu, but the food was excellent and the service was quick. We had a burger and grilled cheese. Their menu was meant to get people in and out and it worked. We were in and done in less than 30 mins. We plan to return for their regular menu when back in town.

Best breakfast in town! I recommend one of their "skillets". Friendly staff and fast service. Never tried their lunch menu, but the morning is excellent. My kids also love it and call it "the pancake place". Good pancakes on the children's menu.

Had lunch here with a friend. I ordered the hickory burger with bbq sauce and bacon. Friend ordered the windmill burger featuring melted cheese and onion over the bun. Both were fantastic. We can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Very nice family restaurant where the locals eat. You will feel at home here. Full service menu from cinnamon rolls to buffet and dinners. Servers are efficient and friendly. Loretta and Milinda are awesome!

My husband and I have never eaten here before but this was delicious!! We ordered the hash and it was enough to feed the both of us! We will definitely be back again!!

I absolutely love this Cafe. The employees are super sweet and the food is like home. I love the breakfast all day option. And if you like brown gravy, you simply must try theirs. It is amazing. The picture is beef brisket over a mound of mashed potatoes smothered in their amazing brown gravy. It was amazing. They give you so much that I have enough for dinner that night. 😋

Great location for a simple lunch. Prices are very much in line and the quality of food is really good.

I had a turkey club with fries . The waitress was always coming back and checking how our meal was and if we needed a refill on our drinks. The meal was great we will definitely go back if we are in town .

Small Town diners are hard to beat, and The Windmill Cafe is definitely a gem. This place is what you picture when thinking of the small town diners, and that one place everyone goes to. They have a great menu, and I'm sure you cannot order a thing that isn't great! I had an omelette for breakfast, came with hash browns and toast. Great portions so that's nothing to worry about. You will get your money's worth! Also, very good service. The place was bustling, which is pretty typical of small town cafes on a Saturday morning and the staff kept up nicely. Also, check out their daily pie selections. They are something to rave about. Check out the sites in Pella, and grab a bite at The Windmill. You'll be glad you did! 👍

What a fabulous downtown restaurant, reasonably priced, great food. I had the hot roast beef sandwich, it was delicious and so tasty, my daughter ordered the grilled chicken salad, we topped off our meal with the Oreo cookie pie and a peach pie alamode. When you are in Pella, stop in for a great meal.

My experience was wonderful. We were greeted my with warm smiles and seated quickly. Emily served my family and she was very sweet and kind. The food was very delicious we ate every bite. I would recommend dining at the windmill cafe!!!!
