We were there on a weekday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. The displays included everything from clothing to paintings to photographs to newspapers to farm implements and more. The husband and wife docent team were friendly and knowledgeable. There is a gift shop as well.

This is a beautiful place. If you have never been there; , it is one of the top places you need to visit. There is a gift shop that is privately owned and she has a lot of nice and unusual gifts.

What a great place full of history and resources. They have natural history, Red Oak history, military history, doll display, and a Christmas village. Just awesome layouts!
