Stopped in for a quick lunch and will be back. Food was great, service was fast and friendly, and prices were pretty reasonable. I got the bacon shrooms and Swiss burger.

We travel full-time and are always looking for local places like this. Such great history! "Kate" was a man! A wonderful family owns it now but has all the same charm. An unassuming exterior but so comfortable on the inside.

Very good place! Everyone in our group ordered a burger (but with different toppings) and all orders came out correctly. They tasted very good. Service was nice and friendly as well. The lady running the register was so nice and welcoming. We were here on a Saturday during lunch and they seemed very busy, maybe more busy than usual, but we got a table about 10 minutes after arriving and the food didn’t seem to take too long considering how many people were there. Would definitely recommend!

Dont be fooled from the outside.. Park in back, go inside, and be ready to have a great experience.

Truly enjoyed my beef burrito with chili and a side of reftried beans. Our waitress was very sweet and the locals here were impressively Friendly.

The new owners are doing a great job of keeping a local favorite going. The food is good and the beer is cold!

The new Kate's is still pretty good. Not quite the same cheeseburgers but OK. They probably cleaned the kitchen 🤣

Classic local hideout. Great bar food and many choices of beer or have the local favorite choice of beer with a can of tomato juice as a mixer. Giant tacos are the best!

Excellent spot for a burger and beer! I was out on the road late and was the last customer for the day. The waitress was friendly and caring. I enjoyed the double cheese burger Deluxe that was on special. The fries were amazing. Home style, not sure if they were cut there or not, but they sure tasted like it. I would stop by here anytime. Next time I'm in Dodge, I'll be stopping in at Kate's.

Truly great experience. ALL of the waitstaff were happily hustling and helping every table as they walked by. The staff greeted and smiled at everyone despite being busy. The locals here sat back relaxed and visited with every other patron. This establishment is the place to go to get a feel of the locals. Kinda like Cheers! Everyone knew everyone! The food was scary large portions, we ordered a single burger and a dbl burger, one should be concerned if the cook comes out to verify that you ordered a dbl burger... word to the wise the burgers are big and only order if super hungry or wanting leftovers!

This place was recommended by a Facebook friend and holy cow. The food is cheap! The chicken fried steak is huge! Tator tots are actually crispy! Fries were good, too! I will definitely be recommending this to my friends in Wichita!!

Haven't been here in 22 years, but it is just as good as the first time back in the previous century. Onion rings are marvelous, the big taco is as big as your head and tastes great. The pool table is gone, but everything else is still fine.

Really enjoyed talking with Lynn. She was kind enough to give us the history of Kate's. The butcherito was delish as well as the cheeseburger deluxe.

Family Friendly!

Bar and Grill in the name can be a bit off putting when you have small children. Along with it being a hole in the wall and I windows nearly turned us away even after reading the awesome reviews.

Thankfully we decided to give it a try. The food was great and came out faster than some McDonald's 🤣 10/10 would eat here again.
