It's a smaller but well kept history museum, its a great place to stop once across the boarder or a destination for a day trip in the red river valley. The elevator view is kinda neat but I wish they could get some money to take of the more worn down elements like faded poster and some of the displays that look worn. Overall fun pit stop.

Wonderful Museum free of charge. Friendly staff. saw an oxcart, steam boat history, fur trade, and a new exhibit focusing on North Dakota artisans and some story telling. Ots of wonderful books and gifts in the fidt shop too. Can't wait to go back, I need to go up the tower next time, we started talking high bush cranberries and I got distracted! Left with out going up the tower. Thanks Jenny for your great hospitality!

Great little museum to stop by if you’re ever picking up a parcel in Pembina, or if you’re passing by.

Museum has great displays of the area’s history, including aboriginal artifacts from around the area, a Red River Ox Cart, and fossils (iirc) found in the area.

Lovely museum with informative displays. Good views from the tower, even on an overcast day. Would recommend to anyone passing through the area!

Interesting museum. I was particularly interested in the history of electricity and its effects on the farming community. The tower provides excellent views. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I can't believe this place is free. The farming history exhibits are also worth your time. Indigenous history. I want to go back, to give this museum more appreciation.

Brian played games with our kids (and showed us how to play) - we spent about an hour and had a great time.

Very nice history of the area mostly from the start of the fur trade through the influx of European immigrants. However, there is information and artifacts from the prehistoric and indigenous peoples. The view from the observation deck is well worth the $2/person charge.

The gift shop had a wide array of books on the history of the area, written by local authors.

Absolutely love lots of regional and historical information not a lot of clutter and useless information. Love the sky elevator view. Highly recommend for everyone at least one time.

First of all, very friendly staff! Then, I consider it to be great to find this small museum here. I appreciate people who are aware of their past. Great lookout tower, too. All in all: Thanks a lot and best regards from Germany!

This is a small museum, but a worthwhile stop to learn about the history and significance of the Pembina area. Run by the ND state historical society, it has some nice exhibits and a good bookstore and gift shop. From here , be sure to go to the town park just to the south where there is an old historic trading post at the confluence of the Red River and Pembina river

The museum was very interesting and informative about life in the Red River Valley history. Hands on story activity for children and adults. Native American Indian artifacts of the area.
