Kanopolis Lake Campgrounds

We visited the waterfall at the damn. It was so beautiful! Will be back when we can spend more time here

#001 wide level site, W/E 30amp, toilet & shower, dump station. Quiet, nice overnighter.

I am writing this review in the middle of the night in Delaware after 4 months of visiting Kansas. When I closed my eyes for sleep I dream of sunrise of Kanopolis. We stopped by this campground during our trip from Delaware to Utah. What a peaceful place Kanopolis Campground. We enjoyed every single minutes we spent over there. Beautiful and peaceful Campground. I wish I could see this place again in my life.

We are on a road trip from Michigan to California with our campervan. We had a nice quiet night here- during the off season if you don’t need hook ups it’s free to stay. If you need electric it’s $10 a night. You can pay online or by phone. Toilets/shower not available but clean drinking water was (it had a slight chlorine taste).

I've been coming here since I was a little little kid. I have so many memories here. It has only improved over the years. If you like camping either with a tent or a camper this is a great spot. Good spot for camping fishing and swimming.

Stayed at the Riverside campground in early April 2023. Very clean, level site and excellent camp host. Our site was a bit difficult to maneuver into and camp host was very helpful in guiding me. We're in a 28' TT. Would definitely recommend this campground!

Corp if engineers camp. Multiple camp areas. On and off huge lake. Beach swim area. Bring bikes, most camp sites a short distance from beach. Trail, deer, beautiful views to dig and read. Also has atv area.

OMG was I surprised when I was introduced to this place. So relaxing and found a few fisherman enjoying to hunt for fresh trout. I just had a sensation of calm, quiet, and a view that you have to experience.

Many spots to choose from & easy access. Playground area , and it was all very well maintained.. even the more primitive ones!! Nice job & a nice place make for good memories!

No utilities for the season means you get the entire place to yourself!

It's your usual Army COE Park/Campground, which is to say EXCELLENT!! COE Parks are always great places to stay. Spacious sites, clean bathroom and shower facilities, cell service is very spotty, my Verizon Jetpack was useless here and only one of my T-Mobile phones could get service. My wife's 5G T-Mobile phone got good enough service that I could just hotspot of off, so all was not lost. The town of Marquette is nearby and has a decent grocery store and one operating restaurant at this time. There was another restaurant, but it's closed.

Most areas are closed due to flooding but beautiful lake most of the time. Nice trails and thing to go do if you dont have a boat with you. Its worth going to see the overflow
