Our experience here was phenomenal from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, & extremely helpful upon ordering or making substitutions. We felt the environment was relaxing & even a bit romantic. Prices were reasonable especially with the economy the way it is and everything being ordered in. We highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back if we have the opportunity during another visit to Colorado Springs.

After a ten year hiatus while living out of the area, we returned to find that Jax is as incredible as we remembered. Every dish from the apps to the entrees were perfection! The calamari was lightly breaded and very tender. The oysters were fresh, perfectly shucked, and the mignonette was as good as it gets. The gumbo is better than most I’ve had in Louisiana, and I travel there a lot for work, nice dark deep roux and rich flavor! The yellowfin tuna was beyond words, my wife never orders tuna anywhere, sushi or otherwise, but this dish was on another level. The halibut dish was equally as good, I love halibut having lived in Alaska and catching my own, Jax is way better than my own fresh caught, the beluga lentils very tasty. Overall, perfect, I hate to keep using that word, but it was perfection. And Kayla’s service was above and beyond while being very friendly and personable!

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Jax Fish House in Fort Collins. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The place had a lively atmosphere, the service was attentive, and the flavors of the food were outstanding. Jax Fish House is truly a gem that deserves all the praise it gets.

They have a wide selection of seafood dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you're a seafood lover or someone looking to try something new, you'll find something you like. I had some oysters, a pasta dish, and the lobster mac. All are dishes I would recommend. The pasta was the perfect amount of spicy that I liked and the lobster mac was just all around fantastic.

The service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and eager to help The flavors, service, and atmosphere come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether it's a special occasion or simply a night out to enjoy great seafood, Jax Fish House delivers. I'm excited to go back and try more of their delicious offerings.

Our NYE experience was lovely. Right when you walk it, you're met with the smells of richly cooked seafood, delightful carbs and fresh prepared ingredients.

We sat at the bar which I would highly recommend for first dates or couples. We made a reservation and it seemed like that was the norm. The staff was great, gave tons of recommendations (including wine and cocktail pairings) and we got to be part of the fun of the busy night!

Our meal was the New Year's set menu but everyone sitting around us got dishes from the normal menu and loved them as well!

Definitely felt comfortable being more dressed up but nicer casual wouldn't be too out of place.

Highly recommend, we will be going back!

Amazing service. I would recommend getting a reservation for a Saturday evening supper, but it is well worth the wait.

JAX IS AMAZING. I love the creativity of their dishes, the freshness of their fish, and knowledge of the staff. I feel better eating here with the knowledge that they are sustainably motivated and certified by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch. They rotate their menu to reduce contributing to overfishing, and work with suppliers to decrease their impact on marine ecosystems.
I love the oysters! Their selection is always fresh and you can choose between east coast or west coast. If you’re deciding to eat gluten or dairy-free it can be easily done here. Jax also has an AMAZING happy hour on Mondays. If I were you, I wouldn’t skip it! This has been our go-to for years. Special occasions, relaxing days we don’t want to cook, or casual Monday happy hours, Jax covers it all. Definitely don’t miss coming here. For those in your life that don’t like seafood? Don’t worry! There are other options on the menu as well including burgers and fries (that are actually really good). Don’t skip this place!

In the war of Tupac and Biggie Smalls, the East Coast took the win that night. Both coast oysters were good, but my favorite ones were the East Coast. Great service! I didn't love the oyster shot, but it was competing with an old fashioned.

Can't say enough good things about our experience at Jax last night for my 30th birthday dinner! First of all, our waiter, Jeff, was absolutely fantastic! Give that boy a raise! He immediately asked what our 1-year-old daughter's name was and interacted with her throughout our dinner. She began to get fussy, so we asked if we could order her mac and cheese right away. It wasn't two minutes later that her mac and cheese was brought out! We were all amazed! The food was delicious as always and the service was impeccable. This is why I picked Jax every year for my birthday dinner spot! Thanks, Jax!

We've lived in FoCo a long time, have been to every decent restaurant, and have been to Jax at least a dozen times. In my humble opinion, Jax is the best restaurant in Fort Collins (it says something about the area that a seafood chain is the best restaurant, but that's not Jax's fault).

Food is always consistently good. Happy hour deals are incredible, and offer the best value around. Solid selection of cocktails. Service is as good/better than other restaurants of a similar class in the area. The peel and eat shrimp are great.

Always fantastic. It's easily my favorite spot in Fort Collins for a nice upscale evening out. Food is always fresh, and the service is outstanding. It's a little pricy, but you absolutely get what you pay for!

Some of the best oysters I've had in the area, with a selection of at least half a dozen varieties, of both east and west coast. The Spanish charred octopus was sublime as well, and a wonderful mixologist is on staff!

We came across Jax’s menu online and it’s actually part of why we decided to visit Ft Collins. Happy to say - it did not disappoint!!! Place was busy, but service was fast & friendly. The girl bartending obviously knew her job and took pride in it, and the guy’s shucking oysters were really quick.
Got a solid recommendation on a brut to drink with our oysters and shrimp, the oysters on the half shell were perfect and the charbroiled ones were probably the best we’ve ever had.
Added bonus - when we got our tab, it was way less than I expected.

We loved our experience and the food was amazing! We have been on the hunt for good seafood (being from the coast). The tuna and shrimp was amazing! The tuna was cooked so perfectly and the side dish and spices were perfect! We are definitely coming back! Will definitely have to try the oysters and crab next time!

Best dining experience so far in FC although have not been to many restaurants around town. Food is usually prepared with care and delicious. Presentation is A+. Been here about 3 times since getting here and staff is always very professional. Dressed professionally at all times as well. Love coming here.

Great service! Allie was so amazing and helpful. She had great recommendations and even gave us recommendations for breakfast the next day. The Maple Old Fashion is a MUST! We had the West Coast Oysters and they were soooo good. Our 3 kids had a blast coloring on the table (there’s plain white paper on the tables). Will definitely come back here if we are ever in Fort Collins again.

We went here for my husband's birthday, it was amazing. It was our first time and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The place was clean and everyone was enjoying themselves. The food was outstanding! Prices are a little high but well worth every penny. They even wrote happy birthday on the table. Super cuuute. Thank you for making our first experience amazing!! It's a must place to try!!

The shrimp potstickers were AMAZING as were the chowder, catfish, oysters, and hush puppies.
Please ask to sit in Paige’s section. She made our visit so enjoyable.
If the Carmel apple martini is available, you have to try it!!

Service was excellent even though it was packed in a Saturday night. Josh knew his menu and his recommendations for wine pairing and dessert choices were spot on. We had the Ahi Tuna Poke to start. My wife liked her Halibut and white wine. My Coho Salmon was fantastic. The house made sorbet and ice cream my wife had was delicious. The key lime pie I enjoyed was the best I've ever had. They worked around my wife's gluten allergies and were willing to put anything together to accommodate her. Really enjoyed our date night, looking forward to coming back again!
