We had a new furnace and a/c installed in July, 2023 by Ladd Service Company and are very happy with their service and installers, P.J. and Michael! They were prompt, friendly and quick to get the job completed in less than one day! I always call this company for all my repairs and or replacements! All the staff has been superior, starting with the first contact on the phone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Around July 10th of this year, had LADD out to put together a proposal for a new air conditioner. Ours was 16 years old (typical life cycle is about 15 years), and last 4 summers had been limping it along. Had a bad problem with condensate overflows in the house. Roger the salesman put a proposal together and we kept in touch. Told him I maybe needed more than a month to continue to get finances in order, even though the quotes were only good for 30-days he said he would work with me. We had planned for Friday August 18th to execute the proposal. I sent my signed proposal via email that afternoon, only to get an out of office reply from Roger that he was on vacation. 24 hours later, our A/C decided it was done for good in the middle of that ridiculous 2023 heat wave. Got up to 90 degrees in the house both Saturday and Sunday. I called LADD's office right at 7:30 when they opened Monday morning and explained the situation. They double checked and decided they could still honor the proposal that was over 30-days at no extra cost (they see quarterly increases some times in their industry). Luck would have it they were able to locate the York units in Wichita and have them coordinated to be installed first thing in the morning the following Tuesday. Install crews showed up at 6:30, and had the new unit up and running by 11:15 that morning. They even sent a technician out on Monday morning to see if there was anything they could do to the old unit to get me one more day free of the heat. Then a few days later they sent me a box of cookies and two nice coffee mugs with their logo to tell ME thanks for business. In the modern world of customer service, you don't see that sort of thing happen. From Friday afternoon to lunch time on Tuesday there were various opportunities where they could have looked after themselves and said "sorry, we can't do that", but instead they truly put the customer first.

During the frigid cold snap on 12/22-12/24, where temps were below 0, the motor went out on our furnace. After going without heat for 36 hours and the temperature of our house dropping to 50 degrees, I decided enough is enough. I called and spoke with Mike, the after hours technician and he came out two hours later. Within a few hours, our house was warming up and we were thawing out. I called several other companies and no one could come out for four days. We all had been sick with the crud that had been going around and didn’t feel well. Being sick is bad enough but being sick and cold is a whole new level of miserable. I am thankful for the quick response and the availability of having Mike come out. We will be having Ladd come out in the spring to service our system before we turn on the AC

Austin came out and did a tune-up. He was very polite and professional. He answered all of my questions and explained what he was checking. I will definitely use Ladd for my future AC needs

We started working with Ladd when we moved to Kansas City 17 years ago, and they have never disappointed! We've bought 2 furnaces from them, and have them tune up our system twice a year. Their courtesy and professionalism have been outstanding, and the work they have done has been excellent. With an old house with failing pipes, we've always felt confident that we had Ladd to call if we needed them. I would recommend them - and have several times - to anyone that is looking for great service and really nice folks!

Outstanding work and great value. Had a problem with my water heater not starting with the igniter, the tech (Dan) came by even earlier than scheduled (after calling and confirming with me), diagnosed my problem and gave me a solution within 30 minutes. Gave me a quote for installing the part, and replacing the water heater altogether, when the time comes.

A few hours later, I had a follow-up issue after regular business hours. Had another tech (Kyle) come out, again had great communication and professionalism, was very thorough and diligent about finding and fixing the issue. Five-star service all around, would recommend to anyone in the area for HVAC/plumbing issues!

I used the convenient online service request form late on a Sunday and received a call back at 7 o’clock the next morning. The repair man (Mike) showed up right at 8 o’clock and within 30 minutes he had diagnosed the problem with the furnace, reset the controls and performed the annual tuneup which was coming due. As always Ladd’s is the best; very responsive and very professional. And Mike knows his stuff.

Michael was so knowledgeable and did an excellent job of taking care of us. He took the time to fix some small things we didn't even know needed it and he cleaned up after himself. I appreciate care and professionalism and would highly recommend them. Won't go anywhere else and I used to work for a different HVAC company... Excellent

Ladd is GREAT! Very professional, friendly and trustworthy technicians and staff. Prompt response for service calls and fair pricing. We have hired Ladd for years and had them repair our AC and furnace. Ladd installed a zone system for our new home that works great making life more comfortable. We also needed a new furnace at our rental property to replace one that was 25 years old! Would recommend to anyone.

We used Ladd’s to replace our 17 year old furnace. They gave us a quote on a new American Standard high efficient furnace that was reasonable and in comparison to other companies affordable. We also had them install a humidifier on the new system. We are highly pleased with the installation, performance, and overall value this has added to our home. Would recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new system!

We've used Ladd Service a couple of times now for issues with our furnace and AC, they're been extremely responsive and professional. Our heat even went out on Christmas Morning this year, called their number and someone was out to service it within an hour and a half to our surprise. We felt horrible about the timing, of course, but the service technician was very pleasant and efficient, and we were all soon on to our Christmas morning activities (with heat!).

I recently had not one, but two opportunities to experience Ladd's work. I'm a real estate agent and haven't been happy with some of the other companies in the area, so when my client got a quote from Ladd on a job, I was certainly receptive. The price they quoted was very reasonable and they got the job done quickly, so when another client's air condenser was stolen, I got a quote from them on her behalf. Again, very reasonable pricing and fast responsiveness.

Today I learned that the appraiser on one job had a minor problem with one aspect that my client and I thought was being addressed, and Ladd did not. It would have cost a couple hundred dollars to pay for the issue to be fixed if the seller or my client had to pay for it. I contacted Ladd and explained why we were thinking it would have been done, and they promptly decided to come take care of things first thing in the morning at no additional charge to the client.

What more can anyone ask from a contractor? Great prices, fast service, good work, and takes pride in their reputation. Thank you to Jessica and Roger! You'll be at the top of my referral list on behalf of my clients.

I have used Ladd in the past for repairs on an old home and when I found myself in a bathroom remodel needing plumbing work done in a 120+ year old home, I didn’t trust any plumber, I called Ladd back to work on my home. Joe came out and worked all day. I work from home. Joe knowing this, had himself shut in a tiny attic bathroom to reduce the noise as much as possible while I worked. Incredibly thoughtful. I didn’t get the sink set for him as promised, so he measured an antique piece + top mounted sink for custom measurements on the faucet placement, ran new lines, vented the bathroom through the roof, set a shower basin, and ripped down plywood to fill back in the flooring I took up for him to access to plumbing lines. I was astounded and pleased not at only the amount of work done, but the quality. Not many can work in 120+ year old homes, Ladd can. See you all next year for another project. Thanks for an exceptional experience.

The outside water meter had frozen so all water had stopped in the house. Below zero temps and blowing snow had me concerned they wouldn't make it. Jason and Joe arrived and did a stellar job of thawing the meter and then fixing the toilet which was the original call. The price was reasonable and the service was kind and professional. They had to be half frozen but still kept their sense of humor and were happy they could help us. I'm forever grateful and a new loyal customer. Thank you so much!

The gentlemen who came showed up on time. They were very thorough and made sure everything worked correctly. When they were done it was as if they were never here, everything was so clean and tidy! We worked with Joe and he was fantastic! My wife and I have owned this home for two and a half years and it's our first country home. We have had repeated visits from other plumbing companies and not one shared any information with us about the ins-and-outs of owning a house on a well and a septic system no matter how many questions I asked. Joe was extremely helpful and a wealth of knowledge! I have an appointment for him to come back again and set everything up in the house so that I can work on it myself. No one else offered that and I'm certain it's because they want my money and not my loyalty! I will not use anyone else from this point forward for any plumbing concerns.

LADD's replaced our entire heating and cooling system including some new duct work and a tankless water heater. Install guys were very polite, got the job done quickly and cleaned up each day before they left. System is working tremendously and efficiently, its cut down our electric and gas bills quite a bit. Ladd gave an estimate on time. We clarified my concerns on the phone same day. Ladd installed on the day promised and completed all work by 3:00 pm. Systems work fine after 2 weeks of experience.
