Great store and even better shoe selection! Ian was amazing! Ordered shoes and made us feel so welcome! Will be visiting the store every time we come into town visiting our college son who will be starting soon at the college.

Great store, Ian will take care of you and make sure you have the right fit for the footwear you need. He mentioned that after the first of the year, he would have new brands of work boots.

I shop here when I’m an artist in residence in nearby Lindsborg. Helpful, friendly staff - not pushy in the least, just truly helpful! It’s getting harder and harder to find full service shoe stores in small towns and I am grateful for this shop. Small town friendliness with a great selection of quality, stylish shoes. Shopping for a good work boot met a gentleman named Josh, hands-down the best service I’ve ever had at a shoe store was very informational great selection he found me a work boot that fit me if I could give it a 10 star review I would browns is awesome definitely will be buying all my shoes from there when I’m in the neighborhood

Last year, while visiting my in-laws who had recently moved to McPherson, I had the pleasure of shopping at Brown’s and being assaulted by the amazing customer service of Ian and his crew. My wife and I went in there to maybe see what they had, we walked out with several pairs of shoes.

Fast forward to the other day, we are back visiting and I decided to pop in and grab a pair of smartwool socks. I did get the socks. I also left with two new pairs of shoes for work. I didn’t need to buy another pair of Brooks as the Cascadia 13s Ian sold me last year are still holding up against the trails of Austin and Central Texas. (Here’s a tip: don’t skimp when it comes to your feet). Secondly, they remembered us and Ian inquired about my wife’s foot pains. As she is a Middle School teacher, she is on her feet All Day. She also purchased a new set of work shoes and custom orthotics.

The best shoe shopping experience I have ever had! I refuse to buy shoes anywhere else. Ian is incredibly knowledgeable and will get you the pair of shoes for whatever activity you are interested in. After my initial trip, I sent my parents there and now they don't shop anywhere else either. You just don't get this kind of shopping experience other places.

Spend a lot of time trying different work boots. Feel these will last me more than a year.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I feel it’s important to uplift a business when the service is outstanding. It seems crazy that someone can be passionate about shoes, yes shoes! He goes above and beyond what chain stores offer and knows how to put you in a pair of shoes that will fit you perfectly! My job demands me to be on my feet the majority of the day, and with all the foot problems I have, I have not had an issue with the boots he’s put me in. Do yourself a favor, shop local and support the people that actually care about what they’re doing!

Ian was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of the shoe industry and each line Browns Shoe Fit carries is very impressive. He took his time to go over each shoe, the materials they are made of and the benefits of them. I wouldn't buy a quality shoe anywhere else! Wonderful experience getting fitted for what are the best running shoes I’ve had. Ian took my measurements and walked me through the technology in different running shoes. I ended up with some Brooks Adrenaline’s and I’m very pleased with the miles I’ve put on them thus far. Very comfortable and very supportive.

We had a fantastic experience buying running shoes at Browns! The price was fair and the service was excellent. One of the pairs did not fit correctly and they took care of getting us into the right size later with no problems at all. We will always buy our shoes here, after this experience!

I love my timberland work boots I got from Browns shoe. The staff is very knowledgeable and truly care about the customer. They have a large selection of shoes available. And If They don't have it they can normally get it ordered in. Go check them out. The price is comparable to big box stores but the quality is way better

The owner of the store is very helpful and knowledgeable. Went in to get a pair for myself and my husband also ended up with some new shoes. They keep a nice selection of updated and quality shoes. Seem to want to put you in the best shoe for you and not just make a sale.

I have struggled with finding work boots that fit right for years. Today my dog chewed up a second pair of my boots this year. I decided to check out Browns Shoe Fit Co. this time cause I didn't feel like going out of town. I always assumed that place would be over priced and just more of the same. Boy, was I wrong. Ian Miller measured my feet and instantly guessed the size of boot I had been wearing. (I have wide feet so even though my feet are only 10.5" I have to wear 12s to accommodate the width.) I have never had service like this at a shoe store. The first pair I tried on were a little snug. The second pair fit nicely but we're not my style. The 3rd pair slid on my feet like they were made specifically for me. I am so thoroughly impressed with Ian Miller and Browns Shoe Fit Co. that even if these boots end up not being "the right boots", which I highly doubt, I will never buy anonother pair of shoes or boots or flip flops anywhere else. Awesome job guys!
