Grandpa's Burger Box

10/10 recommend this place. I have a huge mouth and surprisingly couldn’t fit it around their massive burger. The fries had just the right amount of crunch. Definitely will go back.

Got the double burger with bacon and fries. Loved it. Super cool place. Ladies behind the counter were friendly and inviting. Passing through on the way to Ohio. Glad I found it instead of eating a gas station entree!

Classic, high quality eats. Menu reads like a greatest hits of roadside drive thrus and keeps every promise it makes. Even the sleeper double taco salad is just absolutely killer. Everything is made fresh to order, so bring just a little patience with you cause the wait is worth it! Limited outdoor seating but if the picnic tables are full just be a pro about it and pop your trunk, eat in your car, or take it home with ya.

Never had a bad time here!!. Seen some reviews Everybody has their off days. If you had a bad experiencego give em another shot. I can tell you right now that this place is amazing and worth the drive. Also some people say it is a tad pricey but inflation is a thing we have to all think about plus each individual little or big items that goes into the order for each person. This is a Mom n Pops shop you WILL NEVER forget and the people are very down to earth as well. 🤗

I’ve Always had good food here and good service over the last 10years. One thing I would suggest is putting foil in the containers or something to prevent the chicken strips or anything fried from melting the styrofoam container. Burgers are great!

Yeah there's Sonic up the road but this place is WAY better this has become our new burger place. Love it!

Omg! Best bacon cheese burger I have ever had!

Hot dog is like no other hot dog I have ever had. Tots were crispy. Wanted to try their onion rings but they were sold out.

Woops forgot to take a picture first because I was so excited to eat my Fatboy, with fried egg ofc. You know it's going to be good when that brown bag has those grease spots 😋

Really small place in Tonganoxie. I don't know how anybody rates this less than a 5/5. Amazing burger. I'll be back for sure.

New to the area and first time here. Tried the pork tenderloin sandwich w/mushrooms and FANTAWOW!!! I don't have any pics because I ate it so fast! Dang good! Highly recommend.

Very much worth the stop. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Just north of the Casey's gas station/C-Store. My second trip to the burger box.first stop I really enjoyed their club sandwich with a side of breaded deep-fried mushrooms. Mushrooms came with a side of ranch dressing, very very yummy! My most recent stop, fat boy hamburger, a double hamburger with all the fixings. Hamburger bun was buttered & toasted, nice and golden like the outside of a grilled cheese sandwich, excellent. Two patties, lettuce tomato onion, very fresh, adding dill pickle slices. Condiments served on the side. Homemade french fries like my mom used to make on the stove top. All in all the meal was really delicious! This is carryout only, no dining room. The menu is varied and will most likely have what you're looking for. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work Burger Box!

Just a small little burger joint in the middle of Tonganoxie Kansas. I stopped in because I was craving a big ole greasy cheeseburger and that's exactly what I got.
The Fatboy w/cheese, is absolutely scrumptious and the staff was very helpful and informative about their vast array menu items. The man guaranteed I'd be coming back and I gotta say I believe him, can't wait to hit this place up for another juicy cheeseburger.!!.

Grandpas burger box is the best place to eat in tongie. The onion rings are so good my daughter eats them while they are still steaming. The bacon cheeseburger is absolutely the best. The staff are wonderful, the food is made to order, and ready quickly.

Really good road side burger stand. I had a regular cheeseburger and onion rings. It was excellent. They don't stay open real late and are closed Sundays and Mondays, so if coming from out of town, check their hours first. We did the walk up order and sat outside. It didn't take them very long and it was cooked fresh. It's worth trying!

Had good dinner last night! Bacon fatboy with cheese & the catfish basket. The new staff is great! Got the entire order correct & out the door in a timely manner!

Great home town burger stand. I am friends with the owner and she really loves sharing her passion for burgers with everyone. The food is great. I only wish she had a patty melt on the menu. Also, the fryed catfish is awesome.

Fun old fashioned Mom and Pop burger joint. Several different ways to dress up your burger, including cheese, bacon, and other things. Can also get French fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, and my favorite - spicy fried cheese balls! Call ahead to save time. Note their days off. Burger Box is great, but not open late!

This place has been my favorite burger joint for years! However my favorite thing to get is the chicken strip basket. It's a great little pop up location that serves the classic food you'd see and taste in a 50's style diner. Friendly staff and delicious food! What more could you ask for?!
