Big Hill Lodge

My wife and kids really enjoyed every moment in our large spacious room. With full size kitchens comfortable beds and great surroundings we had a wonderful experience. It was very convenient to check in the rooms were very comfortable and affordable. Although we were visiting family we spent most of our time back at the room and had a blast.

As far as the roach post this was dine by former disgruntled employee and in no way is accurate at all

I have stayed here before but I recently revisited and accommodations were far superior this time and staff was very friendly and helpful

Across from park with big trees and outdoor swimming pool. Kids like it. Not many choices in Cherryvale.

It's not the best a little over priced and you can tell that there's a lot of parties there

We have had several (6)family members stay here but they all left after one night and went to Independence or Coffeyville. The last group was to rent the house and it was not complete with running water and the televisions in the other rooms did not function, Only the one in the main living area. They had to wait for over an hour for a key and then were given a box code and no keys were in the box so they again had to wait, only to have to go to other rooms because of the inadequate water issues. Very poor management was observed as there was no on-site personnel and the lady that did their cleaning was finally called to let them in. They will not be recommended for any further family. Thats very unfortunate as Cherryvale needs a good place for visitors other than hunters whom generally just sleep and leave.
