Very responsive and organized practice, the staff are incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They took the time my very difficult horse needed, didn’t rush her, and handled the visit calmly, compassionately, and with a good sense of humor.

They took my two cats in the same day I called ...new patients even!
They were so great with my cats and I received a lot of information about diabetes in cats that I didn't know. It's going to make things much easier for my cat and for me! Everyone was awesome..... it's so obvious they truly care about your pets!I will never go anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend Pleasant Valley!

I have 3 dogs that see Dr. Simon and she just loves all three of my babies like her own. Her technicians are just as kind as she is! Long story short, my guy Rueben started having grand mal seizures suddenly and they worked with him to get blood work and medication ordered for him. Not only that, but Dr. Simon always keeps me informed about every charge and is empathetic about my financial situation. She even listens to my suggestions and tells me she will read up on certain things she wants to get more information on. How many doctors do that anymore? 10/10. Dr. Simon, I won't see anyone else to care for my guys. Please never retire! 😁

Super impressed by every aspect of this practice! Megan at the front desk was so sweet to Gracie (lots of treats!) & we had a lovely chat while I waited. It was short tho & Kinley came to take us to the room which was large, clean & well equipped. We began discussing Gracie's arthritis & I looked over to see the vet on the floor engaging with my dog! Dr. Holstrom was so kind & extremely thorough with Gracie's exam. I had questions about some lumps & how to treat them. She gave me several options & explained them thoroughly. We reviewed all of Gracie's health matters. Head to toe. The Dr. & Kinley really made me feel like they cared about Gracie & her well being. They were so great with my dog, but also fantastic with me, too. It was so nice to talk with them. This was my first visit to Pleasant Valley & they've got it ALL right. Lovely, clean, well maintained building & exam rooms; warm, friendly receptionists; short wait times; knowledgeable Dr. who is as good with people as she is with animals; technology (a very useful & easy to use app); & all these people are loving on my dog every step of the way. This is our retirement home so we are customers forever! I have already recommended Pleasant Valley to family and friends!

Highly recommend Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic! Friendly front desk staff, the most patient and caring vet assistants, and very knowledgeable doctors. Dr. Simon always takes time to listen to our concerns and questions, and we always leave with the peace of mind knowing our dog’s health care is in the best of hands.

Excellent care and service. My two pups actually look forward to visiting. Always get a follow up call to see how the pets are doing after a visit.

If I could give 6 stars I would. My wife and I had been taking our pets to the vet in Basehor for as long as they have been in business. We tried to get our 11yr old lab in because she had stopped eating for 3 days. She also had pain in her hind quarters. They couldn't find 10 min. In the day to see our baby. They suggested that we take her to a pet hospital.
Instead, we called Pleasant Valley, they asked if we could bring her in before 10am. They checked her out and prescribed medication. Three hours later she was back to normal and playing again.
AMAZING! We have found our new vet. They were friendly, thorough, and spot on.

Great doctors and staff. Our Maggie Margaret was recently diagnosed with heart worms and they were very attentive to her needs! Definitely recommend

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are great about getting back with you day of with any concerns you may have about your pet.

All the veterinarians at this clinic are so thorough with their exams of my dogs and thorough in their communication with me regarding their assessment and treatment plan. They even have someone call to follow up and check on my dogs to make sure they are responding well to treatment! My dogs love going to the vet!

The staff was very comforting and quick to accept my emergency crashing into the office. They worked fast and took care of our cat. Priceline is affordable but not inexpensive.

Dr. Simon and her staff are some of the most caring people. We recently lost one of our fur babies to cancer and Dr. Simon was there every step of the way. She went above and beyond in an attempt to give us more time with our precious girl. We are grateful to her and the ladies in her office and would highly recommend them to care for your 4 legged family members.

We absolutely love Pleasant Valley Veterinarian. Dr. Simon is an amazing, compassionate vet. We take all three of our Vizslas there. Recently, our oldest, Brandy, developed mast cell tumors, and had three surgeries over 8 months to try to stop them. Sadly, they kept coming back, and on Monday 4/24/23, we elected to put Brandy down. Dr. Simon was so compassionate, as was the rest of the staff. We could tell they felt our pain as well as Brandy's. They made a difficult time a little bit easier, and we really appreciate them for it.They will care for our pups for life. Love this place.

Highly recommend Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic. During Covid this was the only vet that would see my dog when he was sick. Dr. Simon and staff were also extremely compassionate when it was time to say goodbye. So worth the 30 minute the drive past all the local vets to make the trip to this clinic. Thank you for the handwritten card and the paw prints of Winston!

This is the Vet Clinic you want!! I chose this vet originally because of their prices but now I will continue to make the 30 minute commute no matter the price because they are the most friendly and caring staff I have ever encountered! They are thorough and make sure you are heard and you can feel in the atmosphere there how much they truly care about the animals they see! Every time I take my cat (Chicken Nugget) in to get a shot to help her teeth they are so kind and make sure I’m helped as quickly as possible and try to make Chicken Nugget feel calm and less afraid. I love this clinic and I will continue to recommend them to anyone who will listen!
