My wife and I drove up from Hutch to Marquette (cool little off-the-beaten-path Midwest town!) in our Corvette this morning to celebrate the last day of summer, and to visit the Kansas Motorcycle Museum (and the Smoky Valley Distillery across the street). We had an amazing experience at both venues! The KMM is impressive in scope, despite its relatively modest footprint. I've been into motorcycles all my life, and saw stuff today I didn't even know existed. Stan the Man Engdahl and his wife LaVona must have been very, very special people (may they rest in peace). Their museum is world-class, in my opinion, and is well worth the visit if you're anywhere within striking distance - you won't be disappointed.

What a great find in Marquette, Kansas. If you like vintage motorcycles this is a must see and visit. The collection here is fantastic and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the bikes. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

It's a volunteer, a non- profit organization. It's free to go in. Donations are welcome. It's interesting to see this museum if you are around in this area.

Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Lots of vintage motorcycles, lots of history about the original owner's racing and riding history. Highly recommend for any cycle enthusiast. (Also recommend the Kersting's Museum off the beaten path near WInimac, IN.)

There is a lot of history and a lot of great bikes! They were super nice and full of information. A definite must-see. They had some very rare and one-of-a-kind motorcycles and memorabilia. It was only a $7 donation to get in and worth every cent.

This location has some of the most amazing history for multiple manufacturers. Every time I have visited, the personal experience has been incredible. I wish more people would be interested in such history.

Amazing selection of motorcycles, the guy in charge of the museum was super nice, helpful and gave us all the information about the motorcycles and the museum.
The place is incredible and is a must seen in this small town. Highly recommended.

Loads of old motorcycles with names that the average person would never have heard of like Thor. There's also racing bikes, dirt bikes, and other unique 2/3 wheeled vehicles. There's 600 trophies from the man who started the museum and his wife. It's definitely worth seeing. It's also in an historic part of Kansas, with interesting nearby local towns like Lindsborg.

What a gem this place is. Found in the middle of nowhere but totally worth a stop. The gentleman who started the museum was a races and he won about everything, the trophy collection is impressive. While there, don’t forget to get some homemade ice cream next door.

What a neat place! Set up to honor the life and racing career of Bill Engdahl that spanned 47 years! Great classic bikes and one of two left in the world 1903 Thors!! Donation only and they do have merch. We just overpaid for the merch :-)

Wonderful museum to a dying sport (because of commercialism & big money) taking the private racers off the track! Hope home states keep racing local & open to all!!

I was really impressed with the collection of wonderful vintage motorcycles. There were several manfacturers that I have never known. Well worth the nominal suggested $7 donation to walk thru the museum.
