City Sundries

We have been eating ice cream cones here since the 1950's. It has always been a favorite and when we come "home" for a visit my great-grands have to have ice cream here.

Nice hole in the wall older eatery/gift shop in downtown Marquette. Has burgers, sandwiches, coffee drinks (cold and hot), ice cream including dippin dots. Food is reasonably priced and burger I got was very well dressed. Plenty of seating especially upstairs and shaded outdoor seating as well.

A quaint gift shop with excellent prices and a unique assortment of treasures. This is also a restaurant and coffee shop, all in an antique drugstore. Don’t pass this place by without stopping in for a conversation, delicious food or some amazing ice cream!

Great place for lunch and looking around!

I loved this place! I got the bacon, chicken, ranch and it was so so good! Tastes homemade! My husband got the BLT and ate it right up. After we got "Marquette Mud" homemade chocolate ice cream with M&Ms and Oreos in it! I wish I could eat here every day. Sandwiches were $5. They also have so many gifts here...kept my 1 year old entertained. We bought a Melissa & Doug wooden recorder. So fun! Go here! The lady working was very kind and friendly!

We ended up in Marquette on a Sunday, late morning, and discovered this cute little place by accident. But we were so glad we did! From the original vintage tile flooring to the original woodwork and marble counter, this place is full of charm! The lovely young lady who made our order was so helpful and nice. The food was good and the ice cream was wonderful! Definitely worth a quick drive into town from Kanopolis state park.

This place is adorable, old fashioned soda fountain with marble counter tops give this place loads of charm! I love the Reubens here, but the creamy homemade ice cream is a MUST HAVE! Cute gift items sold here as well.

Best ice cream! Fun seating area with a TV, pool table, foosball, and arcade game. Lots of fun things to buy.

This is an amazing little shop in a neat little town. The owner is the most customer oriented individual I've ever met! You must check it out!

Wow! Stopped in Marquette, KS for the m-cycle museum and after coming out noticed the big ice cream cone sign.

Turns out the place is substantially as it was when it opened in 1903. In addition to great ice cream treats there's stuff everywhere to look at!

Kristine did a great job constructing a sundae for me in their signature waffle bowl and I sided that with a fresh-squeezed lime ade. Laurie had a strawberry shake made with real strawberries and liked it so much I could't get so much as a taste!

The locals occupying the other tables were primarily there for the custom sandwiches Kristine makes which looked good too.

If you're anywhere near Marquette Kansas, stop in City Sundries!
