Don't bike west of Vassar KS. The trail west of Vassar is not maintained as well as the trail east of Vassar. There are many Kansas thistles the last quarter mile east of the bridge going over Highway 75. These thorns punctured both tires (see photo). Maybe a mountain bike can do this. This portion of the trail is not road bike friendly and there is no warning.
