Made from scratch delicious food! Amish restaurant where everyone is very welcoming and so happy to serve big, hot cinnamon buns! We had ours as an appetizer 😁 and our waitress offered something new… to put butter on top!
The restaurant is large, with booths and tables. Healthy options and everything we had was fresh. Accessible ♿ with lots of room for maneuverability. Portions are generous. Huge drinks. Lots of locals stoping by to meet up or a meal.
Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms.

We found this authenic old-school restaurant on US 50. This Amish restaurant offers made-from-scratch comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lunch and dinner a nice salad bar is available. I opted for a Hot Roast Beef sandwich. The waitress winked at me, as if to say, "You better be hungry!" Oh my, this dish took me back in time. There was a heaping amount of freshly prepared and sliced roast beef stacked between two slices of bread. The sandwich was cut in half and moved apart wide enough to place a huge round mound of real mashed potatoes. Then the entire meal was covered in "homemade" old style beef gravy. Salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy every delicious bite. This meal hit the magic spot! But, do not leave before purchasing at least one large maple covered cinnamon roll..or a tray of six. They have a variety of homemade cookies, too. We will find reasons to drive this highway again, JUST to eat at this friendy scratch-kitchen restaurant!

It's been 2 years since last coming here due to COVID. Back then, I was pleasantly surprised about their food and overall service. When we came back for my birthday, it was just as great as it was last time:. The friendly staff, the taste of the food, and the atmosphere. Anyone who likes "From-Scratch" restaurants should give this place a try, whether it be for their food or at the very least, their adorable gift shop. 👍

Always have great service and the food is some of the best home cooked meals you can get. Save room for dessert because they have wonderful pie of all kinds.

Haven't been here in 15 years. Was the same great place it has always been. Fried Mush and sausage gravy. Delicious!

If you are anywhere near this little gem, DEFINITELY go! Food was awesome (we had the fried chicken, pickle fries, salad bar and pies - all delicious). Food came out fast. Service was friendly and attentive. Cute little shop with lots of gifts, sweets and canned items. Highly recommend!

Christa is a wonderfully lovely individual who is great at her craft. I abolutely enjoyed every bite of everything I ate. Corn nuggets, grilled cheese with beef and vegetable soup, roast beef mashed and gravy with peas, and lastly chocolate creme pie.

Great chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Next time we'll leave room for some pie!

The service was great, very friendly and helpful staff. I can tell you the catfish dinner, butterfly shrimp dinner and the fried chicken special were all very delicious and when you add a piece of pie... it tops off the meal wonderfully. The walls are covered with pictures and sayings that can be bought.

Best home like cooking ever. Have to take a piece of pie or coffee cake to go! Salad bar is fresh and they have a daily special. Service is out of this world. I'm almost 60 yrs old and this restaurant has been in business since l was a little girl,if not before. Must try!

Very helpful when I had my hands full with my son . The trickery they have though with all the toys right when you walk in makes for a eventful dinner.

Almost 2 years ago, my husband and I were driving from Kansas City, MO to Phoenix, AZ. A few hours into the drive I was absolutely starving and so we decided to stop here. The people were really sweet and helpful but the absolute best part of that dinner was the pecan pie. When I tell you this pie was the most delicious, artery clogging pie, I have ever had in my entire life I am not lying. I enjoyed it so much I ate 2 pieces there and took a third for the road and 2 years later I am still thinking about it. I am counting the days until I can come back and eat that pie again!

I absolutely love this place. From the food to the entire vibe is great. I don't get to Hutchinson often but when I do, I try to stop here. Definitely try the pot roast or roast beef and also the potato salad.
