Dan is a wealth of knowledge and is always quite friendly. Good selection of train cars and engines. He also does repairs and upgrades on most any engine.

Even if you're not a train lover, you can't help but feel a little giddy walking into the store. Not only do they offer most any part or piece that you can think of that goes into trains and setting up their landscape; but there is also a full-sized town and Country Mountain scale for the multiple sets of trains that go around. We had such a great experience, being allowed to watch the trains go around the track and my daughter was even able to pick which trains she wanted him to run for her to see. The gentleman that owns this store has a magnitude of knowledge regarding trains and their history. If you've never been here and you have the smallest inkling for trains, you absolutely have to go to the Sundown Train Shop open on Saturdays from 10 to 4 I believe.

Dan is an experienced man! Very nice customer service. I had bought two locos, I had one give me trouble and he took care of it. Good prices. I’d recommend this store to anyone!

It was a pleasure to visit with Dan (owner) and get a tour of his enormous layout inside the shop. Owner operated supply stores need or support with sales, and he is capable of providing technical assistance as well. A must see next time your in the area !
