Rice County District Hospital

Just want to take a minute to say if I could give this Hospital 10000 stars I would. I want let our amazing Doctors and staff know how great they are here at Rice Country District Hospital #1. I want to take a minute to thank Dr shelter and all our great nurses for taking care of my daughter a couple weeks ago she broke her wrist it was scary she’s never broke anything and they made her feel so comfortable and safe, whole staff is amazing we seriously appreciate all the Dr and nurses they put their patients first and attend to them in a fast timely manner. I just want to take the time to thank them for being so amazing.
My daughter had her surgery Dr shelter got all her stuff over right away and, the next day we were in getting her wrist casted and scheduled for surgery I just want to take a minute to thank you all cause I can’t thank you enough for how amazing you guys are and what a great experience we had thank you for making my daughter not only feel safe and comfortable but for doing such a great job 🙌

Rice County District Hospital has the most friendly and caring staff around!

I got excellent care in the ER from very caring people. I had an outpatient procedure done the next day with Dr. Beech. It should have been easy, but it wasn't. The level of care and understanding I received was outstanding. I don't have a high regard for the medical community in general. But had some faith restored that there are still caring Dr's out there that listen, understand and work outside of the box! Thank you nursing staff and Dr. Beech!

The ER people took great care of me. I really, really appreciate the staff at the hospital. They take out time to listen to you and to calm you down. Thank you so much Dr. Klein for your care of me, very much appreciated!

Most polite nursing staff took care of like I was gold best hospital I've ever been in ,

The physical therapy department is amazing. Very nice staff and the services are top notch!

BILLING DEPT. IS AWFUL ESPECIALLY JOHN WITH HIS POOR ATTITUDE!!! Seriously you are dealing with people that need help and yet you answer the phone with attitude. Then continue to make people upset by not wanting to help resolve problems you started with insurance codes.

I had to pay a $100 bill for test results I didn’t receive and then I tried to call the business office 4 separate occasions and I was put on voice mail.

Incompetent nurses can't draw blood sample without hand puffing up.

Billing needs some serious work!!!
