A must stop for good food in Lucas. Their pie is legendary! Always great, friendly service. And don't forget the Dorothy Lynch!

I loved being in this diner. I ordered the bacon and egg sandwich (no cheese) and it was exceptional. The bacon. Was. Exceptional. I only wish it was on a kaiser roll, as sliced bread (even the good slices here) just doesn’t tend to hold on. I think I hold sandwiches wrong? But anyway, I look forward to coming back here any time I’m in Lucas!!! I will continue to order the bacon and egg sandwich, regardless of the bread lol.

Everyone was nice. They were so busy and had to open an extra room for us. It was after 10 am, so no more pancakes. We both decided on lunch. I had 2 piece chicken lunch with mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad. My husband had a combo hamburger deal, which included a hamburger, french fries and 3 onion rings. The food was so good and very inexpensive.

Felt like going into mom and dads diner the smells reminded me of better times. I live in russell and do pick up only but when I do the food is fresh and quick I'm never not satisfied with my orders! Simply wholesome food me and Michelle Fowler give compliments to the cooks

No nonsense, straightforward cafe with wonderful homestyle food. Don't forget to save room for a slice of their pie!

Delicious homemade food. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked appealing with large servings. We had their special - freshly made pulled pork sandwich, piled high on a large toasted bun, served with a side salad, homemade baked beans and potato salad, with tea or coffee for $10.95. Can’t beat that. And they have homemade pie and hard-pack ice creams. Service was friendly and attentive, even though there was only one waitress and one cook. They were very busy. We will stop in again when we camp at Wilson Lake.

Dave has a great place here. Was in town for his brother Duane's Memorial. If Dave is anything like Duane, then he is a great guy. Glad to be able to stop by!

The K-18 Cafe is a friendly diner type restaurant located next to the Lucas airport (38K). I flew from Omaha to Lucas airport with a group of three other private planes with the intention of enjoying lunch and seeing the Garden if Eden sculpture exhibit. This destination did not disappoint. The delicious home cooked roast beef and mashed potatoes were satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back and try their famous chicken next time. If you like the review please click thumbs up on each photo and on the review.

This place was so great! Best breakfast I have had in a long time from a restaurant. The cook made my pancake into a turtle! Made the experience that much better! If your in the area you won't find better food!

Food is good but the owner and the staff are very friendly. Lots of local folks who are very friendly also.

The servers were so sweet, the cooks were creative, and the food was delicious. All of my kids had fun and it was a delightful stop. Thank you Gracen and our mystery elf helper

It's a great mom and pop Cafe. 6am to 10pm. Room for trucks to get in and out. Food is wholesome and fills you up.

Great service!!! Pie was a big meringue but I prefer whipped cream, still delicious 😋

We stopped in after visiting the Garden of Eden. We went in for pie and coffee and was extremely pleased. The little roadside cafe was packed with people and we soon found out why. We watched as the waitresses brought out plate after plate of piled-high food. It really looked amazing. I choose the rhubarb pie and my husband had apple pie with ice cream. The rhubarb pie was layer with a custard type filling and the apple pie (I had a bite of my husbands) was the best apple pie I have eaten; full of flavor and cinnamon. They were both was so good I wanted to take a piece of fruit pie home for later. I asked what the best fruit pie was; she said cherry was the top seller but went on to say the coconut cream pie was hands down the best sellers of all pies. I took a slice of each to go. 😊

Always wanted to stop in on my way by, never took the time until I was running with a friend. He's been stopping here for years for a good meal and I'm now going to make a point to do the same. Excellent food, friendly and good service, and a good mix of locals of all ages enjoying each other's company over a good hot meal. I love to see places like this as a truck driver. They're getting hard to find. I look forward to coming here again soon. Twice was definitely not enough! Thank you to everyone there. Keep up the great work!

Great little Cafe. I had their no. 5 and everything was cooked well. The service was excellent. Polite, friendly, welcoming. And no tv's blaring noice. There is truck parking as well. I would definitely stop here again.

This is one of my family's annual traditions. We go to Osborne, KS to visit Family graves and we stop here for a meal before heading back home. I grew up eating here. The building may change its looks and staffing looks different. However the food is still the same. My family always gets the chicken fried steaks whenever we get there. Its is literally the best. Dont just take my word for it, go try it yourself!

We eat here several times each year while passing through on hunting trips or motorcycle trips. The food has always been great and the staff are awesome.

Great little roadside diner with traditional home-cooked meals. We had the meatloaf dinner with scalloped potatoes and salad. Very good and definitely filling.
